I'm sure Namco applied some of their Tekken and Soul Calibur technology on to Peach and co.
It'd have to be Walker Boone, the VA for Mario in Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and The New Super Mario World. Captain Lou Albano, the actor/voice for Mario in Super Show, is sadly no longer with us. Neither is Bob Hoskins who played Mario in the movie.

Well, I do think that Dark Samus is as good a candidate as really any, as far as a possible PM contender goes, anyways. She's already got a character base in Samus, after all.
I get what you mean about ATs, though. I don't think I'd be anywhere near as salty about Lyn if she didn't have such a cool AT, haha.
Don't forget Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which I'm looking forward to after X/Y rekindled my love of the series.
But yeah, kind of a bummer after E3, where so little was shown for 3DS. Guess they didn't have plans to show more for it (outside Japan) after E3.

Yeah, best to expect that really. Otherwise if that is all we are getting and people were expecting more then there will be a lot more disappointment. Any extra characters are a pleasant surprise.
That's why you should have an interest in things like modes (see lack of stage creator and a wish on my part custom palette designer), stages and music. Leakers hardly ever spoil those.

Out of curiosity, what is Namco's track record with their fight games' online stability? Never got a chance to play the newer Soul Caliburs or Tekkens.

I personally expected this version of smash to be one stage with just Mario in the roster. Every single PotD has blown my mind.

Yeah, after the jump from Melee to Brawl (which did have a few notable graphical improvements), Brawl to Smash 4 is crazy. Even simple characters like Kirby are so cool to see in full HD.

The best part of the veterans is seeing their new animations. Even their old moves just look so stunning and fluid.

Yeah, they does. I always love people making the comparison between Brawl and Smash 4 since it's actually shown that they did improved their expressions and animations.
