I wouldn't mind him cloned up actually, but I'd much rather him use his weapon, lol
but..

Everything is so perfect..
he uses the silver bow so many times.. D:
The silver bow is such a special weapon.. its a bow that is weak at long range.. D:
The silver bow is the prototype of pit's palutena bow D:

pls be a clone D:

Can we talk clones for about 4 minutes? If you had to pick a clone, who would you want it to be and with who's moveset?

Paula as a Ness clone since she actually uses most of the moves he uses in smash, or Kumatora as a Lucas clone since she actually uses most of the moves he uses.

You know...I can't imagine how the Koopa Car would work in terms of being grabbed?

In itself it's not that weird of a concept, but then when you think about how all the different items and characters would interact with it it gets a bit murky. I'd love a vehicle-driving character though like Jill, but it doesn't seem like a good fit for Smash.
Yeah, a clown car with Tanooki ears would look silly. But then, so does Charizard. I'm sure they could pull it off if they really wanted to, but I really just don't see it happening.

But the staff is named after him D:
It's literally his staff. He needs that badboy.

So the boys are just stealing all the ladies' moves?

It's almost like he's promoting the newest iteration of a video game series he works on or something. I can't figure it out.

I think he's saying that he's been playing the new one for so long that it feels weird to go back to an old one, which makes sense ;-0

Yep. Trying to interpret the statement in any other way (unless he elaborates) is a worthless endeavor. Plus at least it would be an informed opinion.

Added all 56 people on the list so far. 23 of you have yet to add me back. Huge thank you to everyone who has gone through this monumental task of mindless digit entering.

Found this at Smashboards:
I guess Mewtwo in Melee was a clone as well since he had a similar neutral b to Samus'. He also teleports similar to Zelda. His move disable works exactly like Deku Nut. I guess this character, that people who so desperately want to return, most unique thing is being completely the same.

Being serious I hope that they do fix and buff Mewtwo if he strikes back.

Birdo as a Yoshi Clone and Gooey as a Kirby Clone.

Incidentally they'd basically be the opposite change...Birdo sucks instead of uses her tongue and Gooey uses his tongue instead of sucking.

Ganondorf as a Robin Clone.

You're saying that to spite me, aren't you? ;_;

But..
uh..

Palutena don't fight with the palutena bow :p

ok..

Palutena uses Palutena's Staff, and Palutena's Sheild, with Palutena's Miracles....

Yeah i have nothing XD

This post is way too lewd for me

Well he'd be top tier if he just straight up killed you as he dove at ya. I'm sure that's where the inspiration for Flame Choke came from though.

Oh, i'm not doubting it. It's still pretty interesting. I just want to see all the changes give to Ganondorf in this Smash.

He only had two moves that relate to him right?

Flame Choke and Forward-Tilt.

Mario: Metal Mario

If the metal box wasn't an item. He'd have Mario's moves, except his down B would Mario Tornado (borrow animations from Luigi) and his fire balls would be golden fire balls from gold mario and would explode in a small AoE on impact with coin particles.

He would be incredibly heavy and fairly slow. Sort like in Smash 64, but without falling so ridiculously fast and the inability to run. He could even get his unique Smash 64 icon of a slightly metallic version of the Mushroom.

I just like Metal Mario. I usually always play him in games where he's available. He was also in Smash 64 as a sort of a clone, and one hack away from being entirely playable. His colors and sounds and stuff would be unique so he'd be really easy to tell from Mario at a distance while essentially being a texture swap.

Alt colors could be Gold, Pink Gold, Mario Galaxy "Ice" Mario and maybe some other metallic colors.

Have we seen the Metal Box yet?

I think it'd be a neat effect if the characters instead of turning plain metal (bar Mario) turned a colored metal, like Peach resembles Pink Gold Peach.

Haha, well, it would at least bring him a step closer to fighting like Ganondorf. Just get rid of the tome limits.

I'm firmly in the camp of bringing Black Shadow aboard to take Ganon's moveset and just giving the Ganondorf a complete overhaul.

Someone menetioned Brittany as a quicker Olimar clone, which is great, so I'll add that Charlie would also be a great Olimar clone, but his catch would be that he could only use Rock Pikmin. His attacks would hit way harder, but he could not latch any pikmin onto people, and he would have much worse recovery.

I don't think i've ever seen him do that forward tilt in game. I think it's only the choke that relates to him

Ok, you won this one :p

B-but just because i'm sleepy

Oh, ok.. Goodnight :p

Staff > Bow

Mmmmmhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. lol goodnight :3

I want Pink Gold Peach. No joke. Green Platinum Luigi too.

Melee and Brawl didn't age well graphically either, imo.

Both look really dark and dull.

Thankfully SSB4's brighter graphics seem like they'll have a longer shelf-life.

Ganondorf doesn't really use a wide variety of spells like Robin though. But then Zelda and Sheik's movesets exist so I guess that's a free pass lol

Pretty confident that Dark Pit will simply be a recolor rather than a clone character.

At least Lucina looks different from Marth besides having similar moves.

Hades. Hades>Black Shadow in terms of who should take Ganon's old moveset, should it get replaced.

You could cheese Robin's Thoron attack to make it an Ocarina of Time energy ball that could be swatted back at him! That's all I got lol.

This is an idea I can get behind. I would love a Hades Falcon clone if it meant they could spend that much more time giving him unique, character specific taunts and other great details.

Dark Pit will probably be a texture swap with a unique announcer line and a unique voice. Maybe a few new taunts. Go all the way with making him an alt as they originally planned for Lucina
