Oh, we're talking alts as in wearing the clothes here? Not an entire model swap?

I'd be alright with that.
Yeah like in x tekken
Why would I want Steve fox actually in? that would be silly. No, just his duds maybe like an extra line doc says about his clothes

iM@S costume for Peach or...

I can't decide what I want more: OoT Link or OoT Sheik.
Easy solution to that: aLttP Link.

I don't care what games the Zelda characters take their designs from, as long as Ganondorf doesn't take his from Twilight Princess. That armor's too damn heavy. How the hell do you walk in that? No wonder he feels so much slower in Brawl.

He has the Triforce of Power and is pretty much a giant. I doubt that armour is a problem for him.

How do you know it's heavy? He's Ganondorf, the mighty Gerudo king. It might not be heavy to him at all. We don't even know what it's made of.

It'll just be a picture of the 3DS bootup logo.

Pic of the Day. Just like other 3DS games, the 3DS logo pops up when you boot up the game. Just thought you would like to know. Seeing it is so comforting because now I know I didn't accidentally power on a Vita by mistake.

"Seeing how the game is so close to release, you didn't expect any more interesting screenshots did you?"

Edit: On that note I'd legit like to see the image that appears on the top 3DS screen when selecting the game on the menu.

Even sakurai knows that the vita is a L.

What? Ganondorf from Twilight Princess is the only who isn't ugly as fuck. I really hope he retains his TP design in Smash Bros 4 or that he has a slightly altered one, like Link's.

Sure seemed like a problem for him in Brawl.

The dude's designed to run like a middle-aged man under it. If it ain't heavy, dude's out of shape. If it is heavy, dude shouldn't be wearing it.

Ganondorf's supposed to be ugly as fuck, isn't he?

I would love a vet reveal tomorrow.

So far, this week has been awesome. All we need now is a vet to wrap it all up.

If any, MetaKnight please. :)

I love how a stage based on Black/White, which had a major selling point in only including new, Gen V Pokemon, has Milotic (Gen III) of all Pokemon as a stage feature important enough to be listed.

I mean, Milotic is one of my favorite Pokemon, but... Reshiram! Zekrom! And... Milotic! What a trio!

Just noticed that in the reveal trailer of the game, the Villager has planted a ton of saplings adjacent to each other; what a scrub.

Sure seemed like a problem for him in Brawl.

Well ganondorf doesn't look ugly truthfully...Heck when compared to the absurdly ugly villagers in twight princess, he may as well be a model.

He's never been designed to be ugly, specifically - the Ocarina of Time design is just supposed to be intimidating, with facial features shared by all of that game's Gerudo and vaccum-sealed skintight clothing. Both the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess designs were primarily attempting to evoke regal dignity. Though between all three designs, the main constants referred to by the designers are his imposing silhouette and acute fashion sense - most have several annotations detailing his choices in jewelry, with the Twilight Princess hairnet being a highlight. The rejected designs, however, tend to vary between more grotesque, troubled anime pretty boy, and whatever this is supposed to be.

That last image makes me laugh lol

I played through Black and Black 2, but I honestly couldn't tell you anything about N's castle other than the fact that the super tough Team Plasma guy was there, I didn't think it was a very memorable location. I don't know why he had a castle in the first place lol. Anyway, I guess that's cool for people who liked Black and White (it sounds like a spear pillar replacement?), and I like Milotic, so that's good I guess. Does N use a Milotic or something?

Also, will we get a character with the Hyrule Warriors direct?

Is that last one offical artwork? If so lol wut?

Pic of the day. Reshiram appears on one of the stages in the 3DS version! Zekrom and Milotic will appear, too. It's close enough to the launch date, so I don't have to describe this stage to you, right? The design of this stage is based off of the surroundings of someone's castle.
Hmmmmm

Well at least we know with Reshiram and Zekrom, they won't be able to pull those shenanigans that Palkia and Dialga did lol. Why Milotic of all things though for N's castle?

Also, from Satoru Takizawa:
“We made three forms of Ganon: Ganondorf in the beginning, Ganondorf seven years later with long hair, and Ganon at the end. Just to let you know, Ganondorf actually has a tentative model. We kept Christopher Lambert’s image in our heads…. But the end result came out quite different we think.”

So this is what he was initially conceptualised as.

Lol, that was my thought too.

So we've got Zekrom, Reshiram, and a third Pokemon. Surely they could have found a third pokemon that fits into that group. Maybe they just hate Kyurem so much they refused to include it.

Milotic kind of works in the same line as how Brawl had Cresselia as a random addition, just... more random. Did anyone have a Milotic in B2W2?

At the very least, it makes for nice Electric/Fire/Water attacks I guess.

Parfum Palace from XY has statues of Zekrom, Reshiram and Milotic. Maybe they wanted Kyurem as a Pokeball and used Milotic as a replacement?

Edit: Beat :p
