I'm sorry for going off topic here, but I just wanted to say that Smash Brothers finally clicked for me last night at about 11:30pm. I had been playing for about four and a half hours straight, trying to understand this game(I'm playing Brawl btw), and by god, I got it. I can't put into words what exactly it was that I 'got', but I found the fun. Needless to say, my hype for Smash 4 went from nonexistent to full on Hype Train status.

I'm all in. Smash Brothers is fucking fantastic.

Welcome to the Hype Train.

Your post seriously got me giddy. Smash is something really special to me.

Man, Villager's side B being Fishing Rod would be really cool. I'd imagine it could catch items from a distance away or be used as a tether recovery.

I think firing off a rocket Gyroid and the option to ride the rocket Gyroid is way cooler, though. :-) Looks like one of the more fun moves in the game, and that' saying something when there are A LOT of fun moves in this game. :-)

Desert of Didgeridoos has a number of stage elements that could fit well into a smash stage without being overbearing but mainly I just dig its visual mix of the desert trope and musical instruments.

Oh man, I would not mind that stage at allll

Hey guys, I love Ganondorf's Twilight Princess design, but how welcoming would you be to an OoT alt? It's such a classic look, I'd love to have it as an option (and I guess if nothing else it'll be one of the costumes for him in Hyrule Warriors):
The TP design is cool, but it feels like it's better suited to sit in a throne somewhere. OoT Ganon seems more like the one to fight with.

True too! Villager has the most adorable expression when he's riding it too. ; - ;

Yup it's my favorite gaming series of all time. Welcome to the hype train.

B-but yesterday everyone said Nintendo of Canada wasn't a source and didn't have a clue what they were talking about.

Best design IMO

Fixed... Changed rather.

Sorry you don't have Uplay installed on your Wii U thus can't use this outfit

Install Uplay.
Sorry you don't have enough Uplay points to use this outfit (10,000 required) you can buy it for the low low price of $2.99. Buy now and unlock the Rayman Trophy in Super Smash Bros. For Wii U and 3DS.

...but what about conspiracy theories as to why he isn't?

I would guess that he was originally going to be playable, but was cut when Rayman Legends was delayed. It would explain why Rayman has a completely original model in Smash, even though it's just a trophy. It's the most likely explanation, but there's no way to say for sure, especially since I can't imagine Sakurai would ever acknowledge why an older model wasn't just reused.

Rabbids seem to be pretty popular.

I saw lots of Rabbids toys at Wal-Mart the other day, front of the aisle in plain site. Name one video-game character besides Skylanders where that happens with.

I'd love if we got some more info on the Star Fox stage they showed a couple of weeks back. I know he normally waits a while before explaining his "stage teases," but I really want to see if the Great Fox stays in space or travels from planet to planet. Hopefully it's the latter! I don't see us getting anything in the Hyrule Warriors Direct, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Tons of stages this time seem to use the traveling platform mechanic, so it would be odd for the great fox to be stationary.
