There's going to be people come mid-September saying Snake is still in, people just haven't figured out how to unlock him yet.

First you have to beat 1p mode without dying or getting hit once, which will unlock Zora's Palace. You have to then use a character with a fire move to unfreeze the palace, at which point a warp to the Triforce will be revealed. You then use your one wish to bring Snake to Smash 4.

Just like how the Gemetsu leak could be accurate (outside of Chrom) at release and people will say it was all lucky guesses. Others will insist it was always right and Chrom was dropped after the leak.

That would be stupid, even for the internet.

Since Snake is a third party character, he HAS to be revealed before launch. They can't just not have him revealed, Konami's copyright has to be on the box, plus Konami will want to advertise Snake in Smash 4.

Now that I think about it, maybe this is why they showed a Ubisoft trophy. Now you have Ubisoft copyright without anything suspicous, then you get a unlockable hidden Ubisoft character. But I'd think Ubisoft would want to advertise a character before launch too so probably not unless Sakurai really wanted a character from Ubisoft that he just thought was unique or funny like the Rabbids. But again Ubisoft wanting to advertise...unless its a character from Ubisoft thats been dead for awhile and they don't plan on bringing back.

That trophy is just so weird. Maybe its just third party trophies, hopefully from others too. I hope for trophies from ZombiU!

I wouldn't think so. Its not like Nintendo owns the rights to Rayman Legend. If they did, it wouldn't be on other systems.

ZombiU I could understand, since there does seem to be some sort of exclusivity since I'd figured it would somehow get a butchered ported version on other systems (I say butchered since the GamePad was key to it) but instead, its a mutiplatform. I don't think Nintendo publishing it in one Country would be enough for this type of deal...but what do I know lol. >_>

Yes, I heard that from other GAFFERs posts. (I read most posts even if I rarely post myself.) Its really odd, but unless there was no Ubisoft copyright on the box, then I wouldn't look to much in it. If there no Ubisoft copyright on the box, then that means Nintendo bought Ubisoft! (Or Rayman lol.)
