6 minutes clearly isn't enough for 4 stocks, too much games are going into sudden death.

Maybe will see Smash 4 going for 8 minute 3 stocks in the future.
 
At this point, I doubt there's going to be a reveal at SDCC. I'm hoping there won't be, anyway; I don't want there to even be a chance of that "Meta Knight and Bandana Dee at SDCC" rumor being true...

Pretty sure today's picture of the day would have mentioned SDCC somehow if we were getting any sort of reveal. Evo was a good opportunity, SDCC is a good opportunity, but it seems like sakurai and team make the shots and NOA has zero control over announcements.
 
I'll add everyone close to game launch when everybody's contributed theirs.

Also Bowser 4-stocked Shiek in about 5 minutes, so maybe players are just playing too safe because they didn't have enough time with the game and 8 minutes 4 stocks will be perfect.

Been watching the tournament, the 3DS version looks amazing so far. That Gerudo Valley music, aww yeah.

The two months are going to go by so slow.

Is there a Smash OT google doc people are going off for adding friends, or are you just going off people's profiles? If the latter I'm gonna have to update my profile.

Well, yeah. If they tuned it back to Melee levels where it was barely noticable if you weren't just spamming Thunder then there'd be no real issue with it.

At least that's how I remember it, Melee might've been worse than I can recall.
 
Not even a 3DS bundle or anything? I expected something. I guess the special surprise could be tomorrow, but I thought they were teasing it today?
