Huh, I knew Larry was a Melee and Brawl player but apparently the guy who played default bowser is actual a competitive player that plays Brawl.

Don't want to say I'm not surprised, buuuut...

This amused me so I'm sharing it :P

Ganondorf, Ike, Lucina, Peach, Marth

Peach as Nonon is giving me a lot of good feels, right now.
I'm assuming Zelda is Satsuki?

So in preparation of the 3DS version, I'm gonna remap the controls so that I won't have to use the L and R buttons since they suck on the 3DS.

I'm thinking:
A = Smash Attacks
B = Special
X = Shield
Y = Jump
X+A = Grab

How does that sound?

Shit, you just reminded me that I'm gonna have to find some way around the R=grab because on my 3DS it frequently gets stuck :/
Might make one of the jump buttons a grab button instead

jftr, I won't be adding any of you back for a while because I'm too lazy to turn on my WLAN lol.
I'll add you back when the game comes out at the latest, tho I probably will enjoy single player content for a while there too.

Other people who played the game said there was no lag whatsoever, though.
You realize what other people said and what Anth0ny and RomanceDawn (both have played on-stage and experienced lag) said are under different circumstances, right? Revven specifically said on-stage. He didn't say there will be lag under normal circumstances.

I'd be willing to bet the game itself has zero lag, it was the wireless local connection between the 3DS systems. Even then, those who did experience lag probably did so because they were playing a precise twitch based game over handheld wireless LAN inside freaking comic-con. Those are some pretty extreme conditions to play a game over a wireless connection.

and the guy who got 3rd place was also a competitive
Pokemon
player

:P

This game is lacking so much villains x.x

only villain so far is bowser and dedede ..if you count him as a villain :/
wario isn't a villain anymore, and we probably will get a zelda villain like ganondorf ..(please be girahim ) ..but yeah it's lacking villains a lot

Give me black shadow, give me ridley, damn it .

btw wolf is sooo cut

Some people don't seem to notice lag.
And some people like to see issues in games where there are none. Not saying it is necessarily the case here.

Yeah, I share this sentiment.

Even though it was just a demo prone to bugs and glitches, I doubt it was lagging like some people are claiming, mainly because other people claim the exact opposite.

You talking about JC and stun lasers? Yeah, that's probably nothing

at best that might be about Falco... but it is probably fuckingnothing.gif

of course Falco will be back anyway so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's funny how if JC hadn't "caught himself" and just said Falco like he intended, there isn't really any reason why people would assume he was talking about SSB4 Falco instead of Melee and Brawl Falco.

Reading too deeply into the most inconsequential of statements is obligatory when it comes to Smash. Though sometimes a cloud is just a cloud.

People are still talking about the lag? It went out in the end of the stream, so it probably must've been something on their end. Also, sometimes I lurk this thread to see some news and stuff, and I see that I'll probably get hammered when this game comes (it will be my first time playing Smash for real, other times I only played at friends' houses and for not much time). Even posting here is tough. 2hardcore4me.
