I'm really glad that he's an assist trophy, rather being only trophy or sticker. I don't really see why people would get hurt over their favorite characters being assist trophies because it's a honor that their characters are playable in a sense, rather than being motionless trophies int he collection.

Takamaru was always planned to be included as a playable fighter. However, some players have great difficulty distinguishing him from Lucina. We decided he had to be cut, but kept him as an assist trophy! Doesn't he look great?

Cool. I'd have loved to see Takamaru playable (and can't wait to give his game a spin!) but that dream died a while back for me. Still (mostly) Gematsu faithful as far as newcomers go.

Ike stole Takamaru's spot like he stole Radiant Dawn from Micaiah. And people actually bought Lucina's game, which is more than could be said for Ike's two titles. Lucario is spoon fed to everyone by Nintendo and is a poor man's Mewtwo.

Eh it's not lucario's fault he's popular...especially after GF's hilarious failure of trying to turn zoroak into the new lucario.
