I wonder if the max items on-screen limit will be the same between the two versions. I imagine it will be for balance, but how could would it be to up the number because the Wii U could handle it :/

Maybe one day when Wii U is hacked, someone can up the number

I don't think it was enabled on either of the E3 builds, but I agree. As long as it doesn't show up multiple times every single match and it doesn't interfere with Smash Ball spawning, it's probably fine.

I guess it could've been shut off. In a way, I hope it was turned on, which would mean that the item itself is just that rare.

I never liked how it changed the dynamic of the match.

I see it the opposite way. If it has exact values, I'll be a little annoyed if they aren't snapped to acceptable numbers. If it's continuous, I don't have to care.

There's a perfect solution here - keep it how it is in Brawl but make it so that if you hold R or something they'll snap to determined values. The small number of people who play competitively, but with items, would really appreciate being able to set very specific spawn rates for items (assuming of course, that that even ends up being on option )
