No, it's not the same. Jigglypuff doesn't represent Pokemon as a whole like Ness and Cpt Falcon. It's more like what happened with Roy. It deserved the spot on SSB. And probably on Melee too. But definitely not on Brawl. But unfortunately, because of the Fairy Type it will probably get a spot. :/

As much as I'd love playable Meowth, he's probably best suited for a Pokeball. I'd like him back in Smash in some form anyhow.

Why would he tweet a picture of a Monado at an orchestra recording? And why would Soraya tweet a picture of a Monado around the same time?
 
I was honestly kidding about the Monado blade being a playable character

and yeesh guys, keep your hype in check or you're gonna get burned by any possible disappointment :/

It's still a thing. Sakurai and Soraya were both at Press Start (along with a ton of other well-known game designers and composers), and they both took pictures of a cool-looking Monado replica. There's no conspiracy, and it's unrelated to Smash Bros. You guys are disturbing sometimes.

Sakurai has said many times before that he doesn't like his tweets being treated that way. What the hell makes you think he's going to suddenly treat his twitter account as something he doesn't exactly want in the first place? Come on, guys... we know better!
 
you guys are taking most comments in here too seriously, I havent really read any comment that specifically stated that this is related to smash, and even then, the ones that did you can tell that they're obviously joking, and with that in mind that doesnt mean we have to all of a sudden stop wishing that we want a certain character in smash, this is the smash thread, and nothing is anywhere near as "disturbing" as you guys are making it out.
 
I am disturbed by disturbing jokes and the desire for more stuff in Smash. Disturbingly disturb brothers.

I know that a lot of the people in the thread are obviously joking but there were some posters that kind of took the tweets too seriously. At least that's what it looked like.
 
Disturbing enough to write a disturbingly bad metal song about it.
