A part of me really wishes that they'd create all of the themed stages from scratch instead of using assets from the games they're based on.

Plot twist: Wii Fit Trainer is Samus after she dyes her hair black. She's simply ditched the Zero Suit for some sensible exercise clothes.
Considering that the Zelda series are going to have at least two stages in each version and that the most recent console Zelda games are going to be (in theory) Skyward Sword and Wind Waker HD I would say a new Wind Waker stage is almost guaranteed.
Or maybe Brawl's Pirate Ship will be part of the retro stages and there will be a A Link Between Worlds one, it would be strange if the latest Zelda release doesn't have its own stage. 3DS version already has the Spirit Tracks train and the Gerudo valley.

A Link Between Worlds seems way too new to get Smash representation. Galaxy and Prime 3 couldn't even get bgms in Brawl.
I really don't want them to do that. It would just be taking too much time.
Well, if ALBW gets a stage, it's most certainly going to be on the 3DS, considering it's a handheld 3DS game.

How many landing locations for skyloft have been revealed yet anyway?
The bird's nests, front of the bazaar, in front of the big statue, (and presumably on the statue's hands cause the platform there has been expanded), the stone bridge, on the lighttower ... anything else?

But this shot is pretty interesting. It shows them on Skyloft. Previous screens of the stage only showed that you fight on a floating platform that flies around Skyloft. Now we know you land on Skyloft at some point(s).
