I think the Upperdash Arm might actually be heavy armor like Yoshi's second jump or Snake's Up-B based on how Sakurai worded it.
And concerning character reveals, I really do have a feeling we're narrowing down to a fall Nintendo Direct, so I wouldn't expect anything new on the site until then.

Welp, today is the day I unfollow Sakurai on Miiverse and unsubscribe from this thread.
The game is just too far away. By the time it comes out I will be so sick of it, and know virtually everything about it. I really do feel like the Dojo impacted my enjoyment of Brawl to a degree. I just do not need to know every detail about every character and stage before I play the game. These mundane non-updates are even worse than actual news; they make me feel too comfortable and familiar with something that doesn't even exist yet.
I maintain interest in other far-off games by only thinking about them from time to time, and forgetting about them in between. SSB is on its way to wearing out its welcome.
So long, you stupid game! I will see you again when you are more real.

We won't see Mewtwo until an actual leak or the game's release. His character screams "unlockable" far more than being a starter.

I was referring to the unlockable part. Obviously Luigi is not unlockable anymore, so nothing stops Mewtwo to be a starter. Things change, you know.
Also, special occasions: Mewtwo stars in a new movie, has a new form, has been hyped from everyone since Brawl came out.
His appearance would be a lot more interesting than the Trainer.
All this to say: you really don't know.

I don't understand how any of that makes him a starting character. Mewtwo got his 2nd movie before Melee came out and that didn't make him a starting character. Didn't Lucario get a similar promotion before Brawl? That didn't make him a starting character either.
Mewtwo's character comes across as something that is far more suiting as an unlockable character, just like Ganondorf.
I could see maybe the promotion would give an early reveal for Mewtwo... I'll give you that, though. Although I think Sakurai wouldn't want to get too carried away with spoiling secrets lol
But fair enough, I guess we'll wait and see.

So I was reading today's Miiverse posts for my daily dose of lulz and noticed someone saying Pikachu's model was a rip off of the one from the Pokedex Pro or something? Interesting if true, I suppose
I hope we get more mundane weeks like this one. Was kinda funny to see everyone getting their hopes up.

the main reason for the pokedex models for the app isnt to sell that app shockingly enough, its to have good port-certified models to be used in other pokemon games for the wiiU games, etc.
