But Chrom doesn't have the sword to work the heavy build like Ike does. Ike is certainly not as safe as Marth but I think he has some things going for him, most importantly he has a unique move set, he was a popular choice in SSBB and there isn't much that could replace him in FE. The people removed from Melee were mostly clones and Mewtwo, but we have lucario who has some semblance of Mewtwo. The closes thing to Ike would be priam and why put in an obscure end-game character when you could put in the MC of another game?
I think FE:A will have a rep but who it is and what could they take out or even if they need to take anyone out is puzzling to say the least...

I see what you mean about Ike, he is different from other characters in his attacks. And yeah I definitely see Marth as safe, he's the poster guy for the series.

So glad my main is back and looking better.
Question too the Waluigi fans: would you be ok if Waluigi were in as a playable character if.....he was paired up with Wario ala Ice climbers style? I think it would be a interesting style, they both seem chaotic and random and would be a fresh too see.

To take the discussion back like two or three pages - I'm really hoping we get SS Zelda, since that's my personal favorite Zelda by far, but since Link is sort of a pseudo-TP generic style I get the impression all of the Zelda Franchise characters will have the same look.
By the way, figured I may as well toss my roster prediction in here. As much to show off the picture I put so much work into as anything ha.
This was my initial that I've sort of tinkered with since. One thing I'm reconsidering is less cut characters but less full newcomers. Tingle, Goroh, Ridley, Dixie... I'm thinking now that maybe half of them will get in, and instead will keep Ike and Lucario. And Mewtwo is definitely up in the air at this point.
Sort of thinking Lucina would be more interesting than Chrom but I have no real experience with Awakening so I'm not sure how crazy an idea that is. And a Diddy-Dixie tag team seems about as likely to me as her as a standalone.
So I'm really putting the final roster at 42-44 rather than the 46 I have there.
