the 3 reps thing is so weird and superficial though, falco came out in brawl was in 2001 and sakurai has wanted wolf since melee, its not like skaurai is taking all this into account like people keep bringing up, its not some kind of far out there thing where starfoxis targeted constantly and no fire emblem is not a much bigger series, one gaming selling beyond expectations does not make it the bigger series, I will say assault is thought of the same way windwaker, twilight princess, and skyward sword are thought of, mostly just a vocal minority screaming that they're bad, where ive seen plenty of people say otherwise.
It got very mixed reviews both from the press and gamers when it was released and Miyamoto has gone on record saying it under-performed Nintendo's expectations. The situations between that and the Zelda cycle effect aren't comparable at all.
You also keep focusing on the sale's aspect of FE (which again would literally make it a bigger series than SF regardless) and not how it's existed for far longer and has far more games and non-gaming media surrounding it. People keep bringing up Starfox having 3 reps not to try and get them cut or question why they're there but more to argue in favor of other non-1st tier franchises getting more reps, especially when comparatively in several cases like FE/F-Zero/Metroid SF is NOT a bigger franchise than them. You keep assuming it's somehow an attack on a series you like when it isn't.
