I prefer the overall look of Brawl's Sonic better, but I think it's easier to see his facial expressions here. Hmm.
Guess I'll wait and see if it grows on me.
I see the pivot grab, but how do we know that's real hit-stun??

Side mouth all the way! When you put Sonic's mouth in the front, its a bit like showing Mickey Mouse's ears from the side; it just isn't done!
I said he looks more classic not that he is the classic version. The mouth in the smash 4 is curved, not angled in the middle and longer in length. Still a mix of both of them.

Now that Sonic is a returning vet, I'd like to see an item from Sonic appear.
A power up box would be nice. Includes 1 of 3 possible random items, invincibility, a speed boost or a bubble shield that blocks 1 projectile (anything reflected by Fox's reflector). Maybe a dummy ring one that does nothing but at "+10" over the player's head, and an Eggman one that explodes on hit.
Before hitting it, the screen is static and flickers between different powerups through the static.

A Wonderful 101 Stage would be good enough. Like Blossom City with a fight going on in the background, maybe the Wonderfuls turn into platforms and such.

I would love the special attack to be the rest of wonder colors, so instead of being red only you really control the whole (important) team, and the 100 on the smash ball attack.

Seeing as Sonic was announced pretty early and a Lost World stage clearly indicates Sega was working with the Smash team, we can probably go ahead and dismiss that rumor that Sega was taking their time hemming and hawing about Sonic being in Smash again.
