Any one of the seven Koopa Kids would be more exciting to me than Bowser Jr.

Koopalings are losers now and now obey the orders of Bowser Jr.
I just think Bowser Jr. is a far more relevant character than the Koopalings and can have a good moveset.
I think starters are more appropriate.
Bowser Jr. is probably the only Nintendo character, barring possibly Cynthia, that I can say I actually hate.

Any of the Koopalings could offer a fairly unique moveset, they have several games to draw from, and have had several different gimmicks throughout the years.
The Koopalings are gonna send Bowser Jr. to Crocodile Isle.

Would be upset. Koopah kids besides ludwig are really lame. Ludwig should be boosted to official bowser child status ( heads up koopahlings are not his kids) and leave the rest of them. he design is great and he has a cool dude bro voice in the newer games.

Anti-cool. There are people who dislike a thing because people like it, this is amplified even more if that thing or character in this case seems to be more popular and because of that popularity treated more importantly than something they like. Even more so if its something they grew up with.
You see it happen all the time, examples changes in anime , " why is K-on more popular than my shonen anime whatever". SF3 vs SF4 , when you have to give the " whoever you like shadow is still more popular" talk. Many situations.

Im hard pressed to not believe you. I believe this aswell.
Because of the trend of revealing characters close to big game releases, and X/Y is releasing this weekend.
They're basing it on the idea that the "Warning: Challenger Approaching" banner has disappeared and Pokemon is releasing on Saturday.
They will be let down, because attempting to find trends in anything has failed them utterly in the past.

I hate Cynthia because she has creepy fans, like, seriously.
There's this dude called "Queen Cynthia" on a Pokemon forum I visit that single-handedly made me hate her...at least with Misty it took like multiple weirdos...but this one dude snapped a picture of this random woman he saw on the street who reminded him of Cynthia and shared it with us telling us basically how she was his queen in real life and shit, was pretty creepy. At the very most the only similarity was the black coat deal. And pretty much every post had him trump up Cynthia with all these creepy epithets and swearing to her, it was pretty hilarious.

Then she showed up in HG/SS
Then she showed up in B/W
Then she showed up in B2/W2
I think it's cool to bring back old characters, but come Cynthia has appeared in 9 games (DPPtHGSSBWB2W2) I think that's more then any other NPC in the franchise. She literally hasn't missed a game since her introduction. That's why people are sick of her/don't like her

The fact that we do not have an okami-esque game with him using it is a failure of game design.
