Headphones are useless for a kryptonian but I like that the S looks crooked/off kilter....peacemaker vibes. Cool poster.

This isn't a period film is it? I know its based (well I've read its based) on the Woman of Tomorrow run which I thought was contemporary.

Superman made just over 600 million total box office, which was less than MoS. Outside of the US, Superman isn't that popular.

I can't see this film doing any better, but I don't think it'll be a box office bomb either.

Wasn't a fan of the comic miniseries the movie is based off of but I'll give this a shot. I really like Milly Alcock, she a good actress and a good choice for Supergirl

Somewhat sad that her character and Batman were the stars of the movie, even general Zod was more impressive than the title characer.

It's apparently following the Woman of Tomorrow comic, which takes place away from Earth and doesn't feature Clark or Lois. I wouldn't be surprised if they make some changes from the comic. But I still wouldn't expect either to play a big role.

I honestly dont even think it will do well.
Not saying theres possibility for the movie to be great(or just mid), but its freaking Super-girl.
Its like making a movie about Furiosa and expecting people to coming up, and Furiosa wasnt even a bad movie.

don't know anything about the source material the movie is going to be inspired by. Kind of sad that the Supergirl in Flash movie was wasted, she was neat.
James Gunn isn't directing, but I'm sure he still has influence, just hope it isn't just a tracklist of his spotify account.

Because they had Supe's Kryptonian parents with an american accent (I think, right?) and they want to match her with them? Which seems silly since presumably they were speaking english via space translation since they, presumably, had no idea where exactly he would land.

Anyway, maybe it was her choice for the deeper tones a lot of aussies get when doing an american accent.

Though in interviews she doesn't have a very thick accent anyway.




But if she sounded really aussie they could have had Russel Crowe come in for a flashback and sound aussie as well, fun!
