What is everyone's favorite sushi?
Salmon and Tuna rock. Smoked Salmon is just like lox, if you've ever tasted that.
Red snapper is probably right below these two for me. It's got a nice mild tate that I really enjoy.
After this, most other things I've had I really enjoy, with a few exceptions. Eel was too fishy for me. I had some flying fish roe, and it wouldn't have been a problem if it didn't taste like it was soaked in wasabi (i HATE wasabi). Squid had an odd taste, but wasn't terrible.
I've also had stuff like quail egg, which I really enjoy. It's not something I would have expected to be at a sushi bar, but it was tasty.
