Taco Bell is looking to kick things up a notch.

The Yum Brands' chain announced on Twitter that it will introduce a new hot sauce on Cinco de Mayo called Diablo. The sauce, which will only be available for a limited time, is made with a variety of peppers, including aji panca, chipotle and chili, according to Taco Bell spokeswoman Ashley Sioson.

"We're all familiar with Verde, Mild, Hot and Fire, but if there's one thing we keep hearing from our fans, it's that they want more heat," Sioson said. "Diablo will deliver just that—[it] packs a punch with a 'we don't give a shishito' attitude."

Each Diablo sauce packet features one of 12 new "wisdom" labels—the quippy lines Taco Bell has on its hot sauce packets—something the brand visually highlighted in its tweet.

Not much else is known about the new hot sauce, and the brand did not immediately respond to further questions.

Maybe "fucked up" is a bit harsh, but it's definitely an odd way to go for flavor text on your label.

I always preferred Hot to Fire. Neither are very spicy to begin with anyway, and I always found Fire a bit on the sweet side.

Yeah, for a lot of people I'd expect this to not be that spicy. Then again, those with a low spicy tolerance may think otherwise.

Fire is actually my de facto hot sauce for lots of things. I always grab a ton of extra packs when I find a bell. It's not hot at all but very pleasant on lots of things.

I may be taking this a bit too far, but a good sauce can definitely make or break the flavor of a "quick bite" taco, specifically under certain circumstances (like being hungover for example)

I like how it tastes on their quesadillas, but it doesn't do much for most everything else on their menu for me.

Fire tastes like actual mild so I'm hoping this stuff is a bit better. There seems to be a huge gulf between what fast food offers as spicy and going to a wing chain like BWW and getting your face melted off. I'd love to find a nice medium!

Probably just testing the market. I seem to remember the green sauce being limited release at first.
