My kids ruined their taste buds on Taqis at a young age. Their tolerance for hot food scares me, and I eat a lot of hot stuff!
It’s crazy how popular those are with kids. We’ve never bought a bag but my kids are always talking about them because their friends eat em.

The school sells them in my city. I didn't buy them bags either. Once they started earning allowance, the bags started appearing.

Takis are like the only chips I want nowadays. Especially with lays and the big brands being over 6 bucks a large bag. Fuck no I ain't paying that for chips. Only if minimum wage goes up to $30/hr.

These are the best Kettle cooked habanero chips. If you like spicy and have a store that sells Mexican chips try these. These are really spicy not Taki spicy not Flaming hot doritos spicy. I'm talking eyes watering, clear up your sinus lip burning spicy!

My 8yo likes Takis, I sometimes put them in his lunch. They're like the Flamin Hot Cheetos (still my favorite) for this generation. A couple years ago I had Takis and full size candy bars to hand out at Halloween and you wouldn't believe the number of kids that chose the Takis.

That bag OP got at Sam's is only $3.98, picked up a bag Friday. It's an enormous bag, bigger than the big bags at grocery stores. Never buy brand name chips at grocery stores, unbelievably overpriced.

Bought a bag last week cause they looked gross. I like scharaci but never heard of the golden variety. Wasn't bad. More sweet than spicy

I used to get this all the time at a local Asian market here, but I also started seeing it in grocery stores recently.

It's a different flavor than the OG sriracha (more garlicky citrus sweet), and no where close to being as hot. It's very mild in comparison.

I like the different flavors even if they're not zomg it's so hot shit. You have to build up your tolerance and enjoy the kick/pain/experience but otherwise it all seems like humblebragging and just hot for the sake of it. Doesn't mean that doenst has it place but personally speaking, and Dutch Suriname sambal lovers aside if it means you can't taste your food...Well. But yeah ginger or whatever is delicious

That sriracha color is what your fingers look like after eating the golden Doritos.

When I use milder sauces for flavor, I like to slice up a fresh jalapeño or serrano and it add it whatever I’m eating. Especially on sandwiches.

Much worse than Chips in a sandwich was the realization that Americans use sweet bread for their burgers. Something a European would consider cake. I couldn't eat that shit, even asked the waitress if they somehow mixed up the burgers bread - she looked at me like I was crazy XD
America puts high fructose corn syrup in EVERYTHING. That's why the best American food is Mexican food made from scratch. 🤣

We don't eat chips in a sandwich. They come on the side along with a pickle spear.

What are you talking about? Potato rolls? Hawaiian sweet rolls? Restaurants generally don't use either for their burgers. Where did you eat?

Dafue is a pickle spear? Sound kinky...

Also, he is talking about the bread buns, americans use sweeter buns compared to europeans.

A dill pickle cut into spears. Delis usually serve one on the side.

Ah, I get what you're saying. It's like when I went to Jamaica and tried their ketchup. It was way sweeter and thinner than the American kind. Grossed me out.
