Is this an early successor to Pocky & Rocky?

i absolutely love the games this compiles, but it had better have tate modes for the vertical games.

that's darius gaiden, which was never widescreen in the first place. i don't think any of taito's 3-screen games are in this comp.

Well I really haven't liked any of the kikikaikai games, aside from the first SNES title (I hated Pocky and Rocky and Betty for the GBA), but I want to give this a spin.

BTW, was there ever a Pocky and Rocky 3 for the Super Fami?

As for pu-li-ru-la, it had a Konami action side-scroller vibe, a la the TMNT & Simpsons arcade game, hence why I got excited.

Both are available via MAME, no?

yeah, the first snes game is much better than the others. i've played the pce version of this. it's alright. there was no pocky and rocky 3.

both games should be in mame.

Well I really haven't liked any of the kikikaikai games, aside from the first SNES title (I hated Pocky and Rocky and Betty for the GBA), but I want to give this a spin.

Pocky & Rocky with Betty is a remake/port of the first arcade game. If you don't like that, you might not like the original too much.
