Take-Two Interactive Hints At NFT Integration
Despite widespread negativity from the public regarding non-fungible tokens, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick alludes to future integration.

Regardless, in an interview with Nintendo Life, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick briefly addresses a possibility where NFTs are incorporated in forthcoming releases as he is "highly convinced there’s an opportunity for NFTs to fit with Take-Two’s offerings in the future." Zelnick, who does admit that he and the company are concerned with the rampant "speculation" that currently shrouds the technology, evaluates by reaffirming that "We believe in rare goods, we believe in collectibles."
Whilst Zelnick considers that non-fungible tokens go hand in hand with the collective side of video games, Reddit's Grand Theft Auto Online community does not share such sentiments. This notion was revealed after user BadDecisionSM posted a screenshot of the Nintendo Life interview and captioned it "on behalf of 99% of GTA players. No thanks." Just from looking at the top replies to the post, the common criticizing consensus is that "Rockstar would be making a big mistake if this turns out to be true" because NFTs are a "fad" that will "eventually be completely irrelevant soon enough."
