I think you people misunderstand. This IS a PSX port. It's called Tales of Eternia in Japan but Tales of Destiny 2 in the US. This game is already in english and as far as I can see it's a straight port. (I own the JP Limited Edition box so yes, I've played it too)

Don't forget it IS a port of a Playstation game. The backgrounds have a low resolution, so the captures don`t look right. You can see this with games like FFIX on the emulator, the backgrounds are pixelated.

Yeah theyr'e gonna stick mario in it and he fucking dances oh and you can run a stylus across the screen but it won't do much to enhance gameplay in fact it won't do shit just like the DS.

The town scenes look quite abit better than the fight scenes, not counting on it but hopefully that'll be corrected. Never played the original so i'll pick this up when it comes out. If it's a direct port and it's been released stateside and they're not gonna jazz it up graphically how this can't be released by the time of US release is beyond me.

Compelling.. pft. Beautiful.. are you blind? I already thought it was a bit underwhelming to port ToE to PSP (Which can possibly be capable of ToD2j and ToR easily) but now they dont even bother to improve much on it. EW! :/ And to note, those cutscene stills were exactly how the original opening was.

looks great to me. probably looks even better in motion. who cares if it is a port, i haven't played it and i sure as hell would rather play it on a train ride home with time to spare instead of wasting hours sitting on a couch at home.
