I played through Xillia for the first time on my PS3 a couple years ago. I was attacking the backlog. It honestly didn't do much for me...It was alright, but I liked Graces more when I played that.

This is a late gen PS3 game and it's already upscaled to 1080p/720p handheld.

The Switch 1 is a potato. I don't know what made you expect this would be 60fps.

I bought a Switch 2 to play games in resolutions higher than 1080p and framerates higher than 30fps. I'm starting to get tired of developers choosing to ignore Switch 2 in favor of Switch 1. Yes, there's a much bigger userbase to target by making a Switch 1 version but at least offer a damn Switch 2 upgrade or something.

From what I'm reading on different sources it sounds like a smoking scene or smoking pipe accessory was cut out from the game due to Japan cracking down on depictions of underage smoking.
