I'm considering ordering the tate shirt but my only hesitation is the quality. Does anyone know what quality the shirt is?

The shirts are American Apparrel, which, in my opinion, make near perfect shirts from high quality materials. If you've never worn an American Apparrel shirt, note that they are generally cut smaller and leaner than Fruit of the Loom or Hanes tees, maybe as much as a half size. I think I have maybe six or more AA t-shirts (also have their fleece pants and a few collared shirts) and they all hold up very well. The bottom stitching may have come out of a black t-shirt I own, but I'm not sure.

Basically, AA rules.

As far as the screening, it looks like its a simple one-color print. I assume CustomInk can handle these easily.

is XII Stag worth importing?

having played Psyvariar II, is it worth tracking down the first one?

IMO the previous Psyvariar games on PS2 were about a million times better than Psyvariar II, even though Psyvariar II generally looks much better and has better color/bullet contrast.

Mostly I feel this way because on the PS2 you could roll without doing wacky directional pad movements. I haven't played the original arcade game but my impression is that you had to wiggle the stick in order to initiate a roll. This completely messes me up on Psyvariar 2, especially since in that game your ship speeds up instead of slowing down during the roll.

The PS2 version of Psyvariar 2 also has a roll button. (None of the others do, though -- I've tried all of them.)

I still like the first one better in any case. P2 plays pretty differently in ways I'm too tired to recall, but I do remember that it felt a little over-complicated. I think good shooters strike a perfect balance between simplicity and depth. It should be all about "easy to learn, difficult to master". P2, I felt, definitely tipped over and became less fun as a result.

Wow, I had no idea. I should have totally gotten the PS2 version.
Something else about the first one that seems better is the bullet pattern design... It seemed to have more carefully constructed patterns that would offer several ways of navigating through with varying amounts of risk/reward.

Non-PS2 Psyvariar 2s' control scheme is the most clever I've witnessed this generation (as long as you have an arcade stick). It's the other stuff that sucks.

Meh, I'm too lazy to get into it now, that would be a long post. But I mean it.

Well, huh, I feel guilty. In a nutshell: scratching bullets in perpetual movement.
