Yeah these nearly always make me cringe. When I was younger, I really wanted the Xenogears "X" as a tattoo. I am so fucking glad I didn't do that.

Is so different of manga/anime tattoos? My coworker have a mix of characters from One piece, Naruto,Fairy tales and another One that i don't remamber on the leg...i've Met a guy in a pub with star wars tattoo...
Idk...
I would like the Butterfly of Life Is strange becouse that game changed my Life, even with the soundtrack i could cry ,and im a male
And i don't fear the judge of the others

Yeah I think i'm in the same boat as in I don't think more or less of a person if they have video game tattoos. Granted alot are cringe but some are pretty cool. I don't think I would get a tattoo myself but to each his own.

Hey, I also like Life is Strange also, but I think the fundamental problem with games as media is that the medium is still evolving at such a rate that what wows us one day will seem antiquated and archaic in 10 or 20 years and so as far as references go it will be largely lost on people. I'm all for celebrating games, but personally, I prefer to do it through buying concept Art books and the like (in fact I recently bought the Blackwell Academy book).

I have a Yakuza tattoo (The Hannya Mask of Majima).
I have a Shenmue tattoo (one of the Four Wude).
I have not one but two Berserk tattoos (ok, a manga first and foremost but still; the Brand of Sacrifice and a majestic Behelit).
Im failing at live only by not having at least a couple more I have in mind.

I have a Final Fantasy VII themed full sleeve on my left arm, it has summons on the bottom half Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, and Bahamut, so unless you know what they are it looks more abit ambiguous. On the top part of the sleeve its Cloud with his buster sword and at the very top is Cloud's Fenrir wolf.
On my right arm I've been wanting to do a Nintendo themed sleeve, I get gaming tattoos and tattoos in general aren't for everyone but for me personally I don't really give a shit what people think, I did it cause I enjoy them. I also designed part of my current sleeve until I trusted my artist enough to let him piece together some stuff and he was fantastic, I was recommended to him. Everything that was done, we placed and talked about together before, colours, sizing, background design.
It took about 30-35hrs to complete, I'm able to sit for about 6hrs max, then my pain receptors just kinda go away and aren't much help anymore, especially with colour as the needles used to put that in are about 6 needles combined into one.
