So after watching Team America it occured to me -- Trey Parker and Matt Stone I THOUGHT had a good relationship with Michael Moore, they even went so far as to create that cartoon for his Bowling for Columbine movie. So in light of the unflattering potrayal of MM in Team America I was wondering if they had a falling out? Or was Michael Moore ok with that whole thing??

No, they didn't do that cartoon for Michael Moore. He had his people create a cartoon that looked like South Park and that pissed them off, plus they feel he edited their comments for his documentary to change the context of their views.

They didn't do the Columbine animation. They also poked fun at everything in the movie for it remain neutral.

Yeah I did, I was commenting in general on how MM fucked me. All along I thought Trey and Matt did that cartoon. Bastard! No wonder they blew him up in Team America.

What's funny is that Trey and Matt were originally supportive of his documentary, and tried to cooperate where they could, but Michael Moore felt the need to twist their words and pretty much ripoff their animated series. If they weren't so down-to-Earth, I'm pretty sure a lawsuit would've erupted. Not sure if there wasn't a settlement or anything, though.

That is funny... and they are really, really, cool for letting it go under the radar. Not even get the 'truth' out. They just wanted the personal satisfaction of blowing him up in another movie, which is waaya cooler than suing. But I do see alot of people who think they did that cartoon! ARGH!
