Techies: Question about wireless networking

Would it be possible, with a crossover cable or something else, to share a wireless connection with my laptop? That is to say, use my laptop as the wireless reciever for my PS2?

that should be possible... you would basicaly turn on internet connection sharing on your laptop. Not sure if that will work with the PS2, it might need a PC on the other end to work.

or you could just get one of these for about $50

Yes! It is posible. That's what I do.

You need a crossover cable like you said. Turn on Internet connection sharing. In XP go to Control Panel-->Network Connections. Right click on the wireless connection and select properties, go to the advance tab and check Internet Connection Sharing.
Now set the PS2 to automatically asign IP address. :D

I had to change the scope of my routers DHCP IP list so it doesn't conflict with the scope in ICS(Uses 192.168.0.0 network). You may not have to do this.
