So, do they actually get naked, or is this *game* just a tease?
Just a tease, of course. The Japanese console rating system (CERO) won't allow a rating to be given to any game that has frontal nudity. This game is only a CERO 15, besides, not CERO 18.

By the way, there are three games in this series already out on PS2. They've refined and played up the wank-friendly aspect of it over the course of the series.

You mean full-frontal, right? Because I can't imagine a Japanese ratings board of all organizations refusing even just toplessness in games. (And "We won't rate it" sounds daft, anyway, the point of a ratings board is to show the consumer what media has high levels of a particular amount of content, not to pretend that it doesn't exist by not rating it.)

People rip on the ESRB a lot, but they seem to be a lot more open with their standards. I want to smack Rockstar for causing such an uproar that might force them to buckle down more now, and start rating things based on the morality of activist groups "watching out for the children."

And I'm sorry, but the artwork is appealing, I'm definitely thinking about importing it. But what's the appeal of Pachislot anyway? I know about pachinko, so is "pachislot" pachinko mixed with slot machines, as that shot above shows? Or is there something else to it?

I kind of wonder why there's so many releases of a game play mechanic that's really about physics and random luck, not strategy (like a card game). I mean, you can learn the way to launch or drop the silver balls to get close to your target, but you can't do anything past that, and in no way is the actual launching as controllable as, say, a game of golf, so is it so popular because it's a simple activity that doesn't take much complex thought, and they buy the games mainly for the unique bonuses they can unlock?

I mean frontal, period. Games like Hot Gimmick 1 & 3 that had nudity in the arcade had to be censored for their PS2 ports (this included any nudity and any sign of nipples at all) and still ended up with CERO 18 ratings.

And yeah, ESRB is way, way more open with their standards. The Japanese game industry is much more keen on taking proactive steps to keep racy and very violent (dismemberments, decapitations) content out of the games they produce, thanks to recent violence involving children being blamed on videogames over there. It's all about saving face for them.

What about all those dating sim games in Japan, I know they have animated sex scenes in them, uncensored. Do they give more lenient on PC games?

I'm really surprised. I know games are generally cleaned up for console release anyway, but I didn't realize that CERO was actually forcing developers to completely obscure or remove even just toplessness. That seems really picky, given how even mainstream releases of titles in other media formats don't catch as much heat for it. (Television, anime and manga, and all that.)

Poor God of War would have to be so crippled to be release there. "ATHENA!!! WHY MUST I- ...Funny, I don't remember you wearing a sweater before..."

Much, much more lenient. There's no industry-standards group for PC games. PC games aren't seen as something kids ever play over there, while console games are "for children" in the same way video games are "for children" here.

Even during the 32-bit years, while nudity was allowed in Saturn games for a time, Playstation versions of the same games were censored. SCEI has always had a policy against that kind of nudity in games for their consoles, so even if CERO wasn't regulating nudity, console manufacturers would still be regulating it. Of course, CERO is an industry group just like the ESRB. Game industry leaders got together to define the standards, and the Japanese game industry is self-regulated.

Also, where does it say that she's twelve?

Most female anime characters look twelve to me breast size notwithstanding. There are some exceptions, but by default, yeah, twelve.

Was that "game" bit sarcasm?

Because if it was, since when has blackjack been considered less of a "game" than anything else in our polygon-based collect-a-thon riddled industry?

(And I'll take some fantasy sexual teasing as my prize, over theoretical "points", or vast amounts of so-called gold, or bafmadodads, or whatever else you've got. Any day of the week.)

Ah I knew I had some good pics of her laying around. You guys are weirdos if ya think she's less then 18. Ya can see a younger girl then her in those pictures so it should be obvious Rio's not the youngest. And besides its Tecmo~they even made Hitomi & Ayane 18 or ?? when they obviously aren't!

Hey...

That flash minigame is alot like that MegaTouch arcade game... Pic Hunt.

Thats awesome, I love that game....I wish someone would make a variety of games similar to in style that of the megatouch arcade games for the DS...

That for me, would be the ultimate game.
