Geforce - Tekken 7 Out June 2nd; GeForce GTX 1060 & 1080 Ti Recommended For The Definitive Experience

To run Tekken 7 at 4K at this level of detail, at a constant 60 FPS, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is required. If your system doesn't sport the world's fastest gaming GPU, don't despair: Anti-Aliasing, Effects, Shadows, Post-Process Effects, and Motion Blur can all be dialed back to give your system enough frames for an excellent experience. Or you can try the "Dynamic Adjustment" setting, which will dynamically raise and lower the quality of settings as you play to ensure a smooth, consistent 60 FPS is achieved.

For other resolutions, such as the commonly-used 1920x1080 and 2560x1440, the GeForce GTX 1060 is recommended by Bandai Namco:

This recommendation is backed-up by our own testing, which shows the GeForce GTX 1060 maintaining a rock-solid 60 FPS at max settings at both 1920x1080 and 2560x1440. With the game being designed around 60 FPS gameplay, having a consistent level of performance is crucial, especially when playing against others online - low FPS and high frametimes will increase the time it takes for actions to be registered and displayed, and if your opponents aren't having those issues they'll have a significant advantage.

10 days to go!

Why are some developers not mentioning AMD GPUs/CPUs in their SR? I don't get it.
I am pretty sure that 1060 is a little bit too much power for this game @1080p/60fps.

I am pretty sure that 1060 is a little bit too much power for this game @1080p/60fps.

It's a native 60 fps game, it's safe to assume that the minimum requirements will run it at 60 fps as well.

A 7870 would likely get you to PS4 levels.

Okay so as I thought, that's all I needed to hear! :D My own PC will likely run it at 4k 60fps at that rate but the trusty 7870 machine is the PC my friends and me use when we meet up each weekend. That means I have one reason less to carry my PS4 around.

Need 1060 to hold 60fps in 1080p? Not sure if my 970 can do that.

970 is slightly better then the 1060 at stock, or at least a 1060 is a side grade with more VRAM. I can see a 6gb 1060 perform better with ultra textures but apart from that the 970 should very likely perform at 1080p with ease.

4K for me. Just dropped £109 on the Collectors Edition. Must be mad but I've been playing Tekken since the beginning so fuck it. Might be my last though. I'm getting too old for this (good) shit!

Minimum are XB1/PS4 specs like, wonder if is gonna be 1440p on the PS4 Pro and hope my 1070 is enought to get consistent 60FPS on 3440x1440

Gonna try to get it running in stable 60 with 1440p to 1080 mostly high settings on my main PC with a (oc) GTX 970.
The game also has very similar minimum recommended specs. I would even say they're a tiny bit smaller than SF V.

But the real question is if I'm able to run it on my i7 3630qm, GT 640m notebook (so I can play at my friends place) in stable 60fps (hopefully there's going to be an option to heavily reduce the details of the stages. Otherwise it's going to be really tough without reducing the visuals to Nintendo DS quality).

CPU screws me up?

No, your notebook can handle it fine but don't forget to use a angled coolpad with active fans (and remove the battery) and change in your Nvidia gpu and Windows energy settings to maximum performance.
Combined with the newest Nvidia drivers you should it get it running stable with nice visuals.

Pretty annoyed to see the filesize a solid 15gb bigger than on PS4 despite the fewer features like Tekken Jukebox.

Maybe, just maybe...
PC modders to the rescue

Does the story mode go through 1-6 or something? I don't follow why the cinematics from the previous games would be in this.

Because it's supposed to be a conclusion to the "Mishima saga". They've shown a story mode part where you fight the Jacks in the Tekken 5 intro.
