Ah shit what?!
Hasn't been since 5, so ya.End of an era if true.
Will Tekken be the same?!
after tekken 4 you can't tell the games apart !
Hell no. This is the man that decided the best way to make an homage to Ash Williams from Evil Dead was to create Alisa.Give this man Dead or Alive or Mortal Kombat.
People were just mad at the DLC practices and microtransactions. Before those came along, the game was very positively received, with many considering the best Tekken game yet.Lmao what!?
Didn’t he get promoted only a year or two ago?
Homie got axed. Tekken 8 pissed a lot of fans off but it sold well. Hope he stays away from virtua fighter lol.
No, it won't be. DOA survived without Itagaki (at least until DOA6, but that game failed for a different reason). Tekken could also survive without Harada if he were to leave.welp.. There goes Tekken franchise.
Seems Tekken 8 is going to be the last Tekken game for a long long long time if ever.

I don't agree. I love Tekken 8 from A to Z.Tekken 8 is the worst Tekken game. Harada knows this, because his bosses have forced him to implement all these flashy and shitty gameplay mechanics like rage arts and stuff because some lame marketing advisors told them that they were "necessary".
Harada, if you read this, I have an amazing advice for you: GO INDY! You're already rich as fuck, but you're not going to get younger. As long as you have strength and passion, go and make another truly great Tekken game. Hurry up, don't waste your time! Spend your time with something you can be proud of and tell your bosses to fuck themselves!
Well, I meant there were a few more games after he left Not just DOA 5 and 6, but Xtreme 3 as well. Also, didn't DOA: Dimensions on the 3DS come out after he left too.Nah. The series died after Itagaki.
Tekken 5, TTT2 and Tekken 8 are my top 3. You could make the case for any of those being the best, and I wouldn't argue.I don't agree. I love Tekken 8 from A to Z.
the only thing I didnt like much was the 1 vs many cpu players in the war thingy. that was boring.
The only other Tekken that can top this is TTT2.
Bro the DoA analogy proves tekken is dead without him lmao.People were just mad at the DLC practices and microtransactions. Before those came along, the game was very positively received, with many considering the best Tekken game yet.
Personally, I love Tekken 8.

I have no problem that you prefer DOA5, personally I found it boring and slow. I was talking more about sales and popularity. And yes Dimensions came out after he left.Well, I meant there were a few more games after he left Not just DOA 5 and 6, but Xtreme 3 as well. Also, didn't DOA: Dimensions on the 3DS come out after he left too.
But I know what you mean, but I disagree, since DOA5 is my favorite in the series, and Dimensions is pretty good too.

I would love to see him and Ono get funding to make a game together. They are friends IRL so this seems like a great moment to create a new fighting IP without all the corporate money hatting issues.Tekken 8 is the worst Tekken game. Agreed. my memory is hazy after the shit T4 was. TTT2 was my favorite tekken for me in that era.Well, I meant there were a few more games after he left Not just DOA 5 and 6, but Xtreme 3 as well. Also, didn't DOA: Dimensions on the 3DS come out after he left too.

Edit: false alarm?
I would not say that. I really like Dead or Alive 4 (and addition of Lisa) but the true sidestep mechanics in DOA6 I have been waiting for since inception. It helps that Rig has my favorite moveset in the franchise. Pai was right at home in DOA5 as well when I played that. What died when Itagaki left was Ninja Gaiden.Nah. The series died after Itagaki.
No, that would be Tekken 1. I may prefer playing it to Tekken 7 but T7 makes me seethe with rage. My enthusiasm for Tekken 8 did get taken out by the Final Fantasy asshat though.Tekken 8 is the worst Tekken game.
