This is the EVO build which had the JDCR destroyer Akuma. There was nothing MYK could have done with such a broken character with THAT much character unfamiliarity.

MYK didn't utilize 1,2 sway, 1,2,1 sway or 1,2,1,2 at all to get his offense started. I understand he was afraid of shoryukens and lows but at least he would've covered Akumas flips and cancelling into sways would be some defense.

Still congrats to MYK he played really fucking crazy good Steve in this tourney.

Not sure but Steve and Hwoarang both caught nerfs in the last two updates. Not enough to neuter them though as they are still pretty good.

He got bunch of additional minus frames and blocked extended ducking f+2 into ducking f+2 knocks them back way too far.

They don't want him to be that much "in your face". I disagree with the nerfs, but whatever. Steve was designed super fun to play and they gonna have to work hard to ruin that.
