If the 65" W7 is $8K, I'm expecting $12K for the 77" W7 then.

Considering the type of TV we're talking about... that's actually not too bad. I think we can all agree that LG is mastering their panel production to be able to sell them at those prices.
It's a flagship, basically a prototype. Every year has a model that comes out like this and is ridiculously expensive as it is cutting edge. You won't be seeing this thing in stores.Damn thats expensive for a tv.
It's over - it was at 5 PM EST.Did the Samsung stream already passed? Where is everyone getting the info from?

Got ya.It's a flagship, basically a prototype. Every year has a model that comes out like this and is ridiculously expensive as it is cutting edge. You won't be seeing this thing in stores.
All pretty much use the same panel. B6 all the way!
Sony?
I'll refer you to this post on last page to my very quote:2 questions. Does the b6 do 3d?
Also, thought i read somewhere the b6 has not gotten its input lag fixed while the c6/e6 have, is that true?
Did any one see the real OLED MVP? The Panasonic EZ1002. They are claiming double the brightness of conventional OLED panels - IE LG.

B6 doesn't do 3D, you will need to upgrade to the E6.2 questions. Does the b6 do 3d?

Yes, it was 5-6 eastern.
I got burned by my last Samsung LED purchase (awful clouding and light bleed that started a month after the warranty expired), but these do look nice

We talked about this a couple pages back - that claim is dubious at best. In the same press release, they claim this is the first HDR Capable 4K TV, which is bullshit.Did any one see the real OLED MVP? The Panasonic EZ1002. They are claiming double the brightness of conventional OLED panels - IE LG.

Correct, Panasonic is full of shit with their 2x OLED brightness PR fluff. Unless they consider OLED to be 400 nits only.Hm pretty sure it's 800nits.
It's an LG panel at the end of the day.

Heh, that makes more sense.Their first OLED used the 2015 panels (~400 nits) so it's twice as bright as that.
B6 doesn't do 3D, you will need to upgrade to the E6.
The B6 has not gotten the HDR Game Mode while the E6 has. Keep in mind this fix is for HDR gaming, not regular gaming, you need to use game mode for less input lag.
I see. So they're referencing 2 year old OLED panels. PR gonna PR.Their first OLED used the 2015 panels (~400 nits) so it's twice as bright as that.
Sony presentation is about to start I think.
Oh, sorry guys. So Sony's is in 40 minutes? Or am I crazy? I don't get these time zones sorry.
You know what... I'm not even hyped for it anymore. They'll be using LG's panels on their OLEDs so we know what to expect.yup. it's in 41 minutes
1080p looks sublime and so does 1440p.How does 1080p gaming look on these 4K TVs? I would be using my PC.

I want to see QLEDs reviews. I hope it is indeed a good technology and not too expensive.
We're too near to announcement time for this type of behavior. You will rehype yourself now
Maybe I'll be hyped if they show us a really good TV. Otherwise, meh.
Panasonic's EZ1000 already sounds better than all of LGs OLEDs.
