I know papi, I am not a fan a 2d pixel art games, I love the movie and I wish we could get a proper terminator game with modern graphics. The Robocop team made a decent game but I wasn't a big fan of it either
I can understand the "not liking 2d pixel art" thing. I'm just happy to see them make a new game about Terminator 2. I can't remember the last time such a thing happened. I mean, we've seen stuff with older IPs of course. But not so much an older IP and a game that's based on the movie beat for beat.

You didn't like Rogue City?! Ah man, that sucks. I legitimately feel like it's the best Robocop game, period. Did you try their Terminator game? If you haven't, I suggest you do. But if you did and you don't like it either, I guess I can't say I'm too surprised. I honestly thought they knocked both IPs out of the park, especially with a less than AAA budget.

There IS that new Terminator: Survivors game that's still supposed to be coming out. But, who knows what's going on with that? I feel like it's been put on ice as they haven't said anything about it in awhile.

I'm sure we've been over this before, but you didn't like Terminator Resistance? :messenger_dizzy:

Looks cool but seeing Sarah and the T-800 mowing guys down with giant splats of blood is kind of a shocker

I'm keeping expectations pretty low. I'm sure it'll still be fun though and I'll undoubtedly get it eventually.

tbh, I need more game like this
NG ragebound, shinobi, gi joe, TMNT, wow, are we back at the 90s? I'm happy!
I don't have to play for now sadly : /

I'm hyped for this.

If you want a Terminator fix in the meantime then Terminator: Resistance is cheap to pick-up now and it's a great game imo.

The movement to animation ratio/balance look off to me and I can't unsee it. Like the character is moving way too far for the animation cycle.

Looks good to me. Having said that, I don't really care to play these (2d side scrollers) anymore. That was my 90s kid thing.

That means, I expect to have full on VR or realistic looking things these days.

The fact that this game has an average critic score of 57 is a tragedy. It deserves so much better.

Getting serious nostalgia here

And the way the missiles come in remind me of the Arcade game

Honestly can't wait for this :messenger_tears_of_joy:

No Arnie? It's a shame, I would imagine that adding his (heavily pixelated) face wouldn't cost a ton of money.

Please don't make it insanely difficult.

For reference: my old man reflexes cant play Contra 3 anymore without dying every 10 seconds.

I'd imagine Arnie's likeness still costs enough to be a consideration for a smaller publisher.
Hence why you never see an actual like-ness of him in all the clips released, and they end up having to use the skeleton version of his face instead....so it isn't quite the authentic experience it could be for a T2 game...

Yeah somethings wrong about there proportions too :/
Like there anatomy is a little wack.
