I live in West Texas and I hang around and have been around some crazy people but this show seems way too crazy to be believable. All the conversations seem scripted. This show looked like it would be more entertaining than American Chopper but it feels like a complete farse.

its completely scripted, like almost all the new reality shows. TV execs are pulling off a great scam on the viewers. I just watched an episode of Viva La Bam this morning and it was the same thing. Completely scripted now. They don't have to pay for good writers or actors, just go to some regular joe's home or business and plan out basic scripts and "VIOLA!" You get a sitcom for 1/4 the price.

Well, most of the stuff in VLB IS planned out. Just because its not set in a studio doesn't make it a reality show.

well it used to be sort of like Jackass. Stuff was planned out, but still the stunts and crazy stuff was for the most part really done. Now its 100% staged and fake (i think they even used a stunt double for Vito in the last episode when they were driving the giant truck). Its obvious because Bam and his friends are really, really shitty actors.
