Games being announced only as "Xbox" has happened before, and it's not something new. It has more to do with games being released within the wider ecosystem (XS, XboxStore, XCloud etc..)

There are no games on XBOX. They announced at the end of the show that MS is shutting down the division completely.

Yes, Capcom are making an Xbox One game releasing in 2027. This is just a recent Xbox Summer 2025 guideline for platform listings. If you are releasing on more than one Xbox platform (Console, Cloud and PC) you just list "Xbox"

Microsoft has official logos and branding for all these now. So there's no reason to keep it close to the chest other than that.
Also Capcom has previous for this as well: RE4 remake had a PS4 version, but no Xbox One version despite releasing on nearly every platform you can think of (even iOS).

My assumption is they didn't list a specific Xbox platform because the next Xbox platforms will just be a PC version. The 'Xbox' name will effectively just refer to the Xbox store -- sort of like how Steam just means PC at this point.

I said you that is not new. Nothing to speculate here because you can see "XBOX" in other trailer/imagen of marketing. This applies to games that have already been released and are available to the user. It has nothing to do with any supposed future platform/device predictions.

It only says Xbox because of smart delivery, unlike PS4/5 where the two SKU's are listed separately.

And it will only get worse in the future; the worst part is that Xbox doesn't seem to care much about its console anymore.
Nothing to panic about but still worth noting .
Bigger games take more time & course changes wouldn't show up as fast as with smaller games & also porting to Xbox is a small task for big teams so it's worth it for them to get the extra sales or revenue from game pass .

So I have learnt in this thread that if it not "big" name games, it doesn't matter. Regardless, how many games overall did NOT say they were coming to PS5? Switch and Switch 2 I can understand due to the power differences, but games NOT coming to PS5 in this show I'd love to know...
