as I said.. laughing about the stupidity of the act is one thing... but condemnation after the fact is just wrong. was it stupid as shit to do this? hell yeah. but is it right to call someone a retard that is going to look fucked up for the rest of their life because of one stupid mistake? not in my book at least.

Wow, what happened to a little thing called compassion? Yeah, what he did was incredibly stupid and, you know what, he's obviously paying for it. I think it kind of goes without saying that what he did was moronic. I guess I just find it difficult to mock a guy who's charred beyond recognition, regardless of how he got there.

If a guy jumps out of a building to kill himself and only ends up mangling himself for life, I'm not gonna go around and be like, "OHhhh, jumping was funny but now he has to live with the results of his actions. I FEEL SO BAD!" Fuck that. There's a million and one other burn victims out there who get fucked up every single day because of OTHER PEOPLES stupid actions-- drunk driving, fireworks, etc. I refuse to waste my compassion on assholes who do this shit to themselves. You wanna do stupid shit? Good. Learn to live with the consequences. He who burns himself with too many lightsabers will not have testicles left to have children. NATURAL SELECTION, PEOPLE... it's a beautiful thing.

I think he was 20 and the woman was about 18 - old enough to know consequences and risks, IMO. They have themselves to blame for it tbh

Truer words have never been spoken. Listen... I'm not a dick. If I see someone like this rolling down the street, I'm not gonna drop everything I'm doing to point and laugh. But at the same time, if I see this person chillin and trying to get pity, I'd tear him a new one. Bad accident doesn't automatically = compassion in my book.

Actually, all you need to do is take yourself out of the gene pool one way or another, in terms of reproducing. Dying's the easiest way, but there are others. I read one where a guy was on top of a cliff, and there was a metal fence to guard the edge. Anyways, he decided that he needs to pee, so he starts peeing on the fence... oh and it was storming too. Basically, lightning hit the fence, went up the path of least resistance (his pee stream) and exploded his penis. He survived, but he can't reproduce, so he's eligible for a Darwin Award.
