The 2017 NBA Draft |OT| Trust The Process

On one hand, you think you could get better than LaVine/Dunn + Malik Monk/Jonathan Issac.

..but honestly it's not a bad haul.. LaVine has grown into a pretty solid player, Dunn is super young and was the 6th pick last year and Issac or Monk are good players.

You got younger and a bit deeper... but man Butler is a good player. Chicago had a hardon to get rid of the guy for years now it seems.

GarPax probably wanted a high pick to save themselves for at least 3 more years.

Because now they can make the excuse to Jerry they have a potential superstar, and 2 solid young players to build off of.....even if Lavine had blown a knee

I love Lavine, I hope he returns to form and just starts dunking on everything.

Would love to see rondo dishing him alleyoops and nice cuts

What the hell is Minnesota doing with that deal?

Give away your future and you're no closer to competing

Jimmy Butler isn't a net positive over LaVine and Dunn?

Rubio/Wiggins/Butler/Someone/Towns is a pretty solid starting point. Defense in the backcourt. Just pair a defensive 4 with Towns.

Also, Timberwolves got a solid core now with Wiggins/KAT/Butler. That's good for a 4 or 5 seed you'd think.

Especially if Utah loses Hayward and whatever fuckery ends up happening with the Clippers.

There's a vacuum in the West below the Warriors/Spurs/Rockets.

Plus Butler is 27 and signed until 2020. Good supporting piece for KAT as KAT enters his prime.

You want a shot at the champ? [NG gif winner July 23]
This is why the Kings suck, they should never trade away Boogie. He would've team perfectly with Fox.

People shitting on Minnesota for giving up an athletic guy coming off a torn ACL, a 23 year old second year PG who disappointed, and a pick to get a star SG.

The Butler thing is deeper than just him as a player.. this very young team needs a leader who gets Thibs and how much work he has to put in. This is huge.. lets go..season needs to start next week.

.

Dunn is older than Brad Beal. Thats the thing about drafting college seniors. They have less room to grow.
