Livery of the Viper. Love the little nod to the Oreca colors.
The white Oreca Viper is one of my favorite liveries on a car. Hated when it changed to the red.
Yes, I'll be making the thread again. It'll be up a week or so before the race.is someone making a thread for 2015?

It does rather depend on what you're after; the 'tv experience' with the Eurosport player with the added benefit of being able to watch all the other sporting events on the channel or the WEC app which has a specific focus on the Le Mans 24 hours, with a choice of live feeds, timing screens, technical data etc.so which one of these two is better?
There won't be any broadcast quality footage due to the rules in place. Footage recorded by spectators should start appearing in the usual places over the next few days.Any videos from the test yet?

Eh, just a little wide there.
The Eurosport player is slightly cheaper (under 10/$10/£10). The WEC app's Le Mans Premium Pack is 9,99 ($13.80).So the WEC sub or PPV or whatever via their website, that gives full HD and the same basic coverage as Eurosport (in terms of commentary etc.)? How does it compare in price?
Hm. That "no ads" thing is tempting. Watching bootleg streams last year, they always kind of shat me. I'd almost pay for the privilege of not having to see them.
I tried looking up how to sub to WEC on their website but honestly couldn't find where to do it. But I think I found it via that link JB posted, so it's all good. $15AUD isn't too bad for a weekend's worth of fun, even if it is $5AUD more than the Eurosport coverage. I'd like to think there's other motorsports on Eurosport I could watch as well, so... hmm...
They've had multiple on-board options (about five or six) during the first two races, although they're not labeled (just 'on-board 1', 'on-board 2', etc) and I never really bothered with them as I just had the main feed on my TV.but on the more expensive WEC stream you can pick vehicle cameras?
The no ads is really tempting.
Remember when F1 was the primary racing category for trickle-down tech to road cars? That was fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
LMP-1 is hands down my favorite class of racing overall. I love seeing the innovations that manufacturers come up with when they get so much wiggle room.
It still is.Remember when F1 was the primary racing category for trickle-down tech to road cars?
Has it ever been? I can recall reports from more than 10 years ago that F1 had very little influence on road car tech.Remember when F1 was the primary racing category for trickle-down tech to road cars?

In 2015, the historic exhibition put on by the Automobile Club de lOuest in partnership with the Sarthe Department and GEFCO in the Le Mans 24-Hours village is devoted to one of the most legendary duels in the history of the Le Mans 24 Hours, the battle between Ford and Ferrari. The highpoint of the exhibition will be a special parade on Saturday 13th June before the start of the race.
2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the last victory of a Ferrari at Le Man. The ACO Heritage department is devoting its traditional exhibition of historic cars to the Italian make by highlighting the thrilling duel between the Prancing Horse and Ford that lasted four years.
If I may ask, are you attending the 24 Hours for the first time or is this the first Le Mans you're following on TV/online in general?watched Truth in 24 II. even more hyped now for my first Le Mans.

It's always great to welcome new fans to the world of endurance racing, especially to Le Mans. I hope you enjoy the race and just a little tip; Le Mans at dawn is something very special.first time following it online. I think i will pay for the subscription on the WEC site.
I am mainly into Rally, but i recently watched the 24h of Nürnburgring and i really enjoyed it. which led me to WEC.
