The Batman tickets purchased.

And it is done...

Had to get them for the second night, since I have to be up for work around 1:30 am on Friday, but I'm pretty excited. We rarely go out to the theaters these days. My wife and I will probably catch an early dinner, and then watch us some Batman. Said the runtime was two hours and fifty-six minutes. Very cool.

The thought of watching a movie while wearing a mask sounds like hell to me

I'll wait for it to come to streaming

Ever since I've picked up my lg c1 I've lost even more motivation to go to theaters

Got the tickets for me and the boys today. Have to admit none of us seem to be as excited as the rest of the world.

I did the same. I buy the "wheelchair companion" seat, because it has it's own little "island" away from other chairs. Of course, I'll give it up, should the need arise (as is the policy).

If reviews are stellar, I'll make a trip to the theater. But 3 hours plus a billion trailers beforehand and an hour of commuting makes me rather just wait for HBO to release it 45 days later.

Not worth it...

It had a lot of good ideas, but I've never seen a movie overstay its welcome quite as much as this movie. Wow. They seemed to have a good idea of where they wanted to go with the movie, but when it came to actually writing the script...it just doesn't come together for me.

Won't be seeing any sequels if there are any.

I hated this movie beyond my wildest imaginings. It was a boring, pretentious, depressing, ridiculously overlong waste of time in every conceivable way.

Please god. No more Batman. Enough. Can we PLEASE have something new now.

This movie didn't gel with me at all. I liked the deeper look into Gotham, but the story didn't grip me and none of the fights were as good as or better than Batfleck saving Martha.
Pattinson played a good elseworlds Batman, but I'm not sold as him being our main Batman (though he probably is).

I'm gonna leave room for the possibility that my exhaustion might have skewed my reaction to the movie. My wife and I are routinely in bed by 5:30p, since we both have to be up around 2:30a each morning (and I only got three hours sleep the night before), and we didn't get out of the theater until about 10:15p. I probably need to give it a second chance when it comes to blu-ray.

Just got back from the theater. It was a 6/10. I feel somewhere between Dynomite and Optimus Lime on this one. I actually looked at my phone multiple times because I found myself getting bored and as disappointed overall.
