Beer ad from australia. The whole carlton draught series is pretty funny, but this one is the best by far so far.

Most likely used digital actors in the larger shots... but was still a 'bloody expensive' commercial by all accounts. I think the advertising firm was banking on this one completely.

"The ad was shot in Queenstown, New Zealand because of the breathtaking scenery. The crew enlisted seemingly every backpacker in town. "We had over 300 extras on the ground. Most of the huge wide shots are CGI," Middleditch points out. The producer chose Animal Logic, with their big budget film experience ('Matrix', 'Moulin Rouge', 'Hero') as the obvious choice for the animation that took about 12 weeks to complete."
