The Dark History of Bungie with Marty O'Donnell

(I'll be updating this with bullet points later. For now, enjoy!)

This is really good stuff. To all those developers out there, stay away from these platforms and publishers, use the web. As someone who's been around for a very long time I watched all these incredible developers from the past (the best of the best talent) get crushed by these platforms and publishers all one after the other; Watching what happened to Blizzard Entertainment 2010 and onward was awful, all that talent, you're talking about a developer whom were an absolute enigma, you can literally still feel the void of their absence on the PC today.

Finally got to watch this in full. I suspected a lot of this from Marty's tweets and having been a huge bungie fan since halo 1. This is the most clear and direct though and confirms a lot of what I suspected but with additional details I never knew. It's not just about Marty but there are great nuggets of information about various important people in the studio that left over the years and why they did

It's really a shame. I kind of wonder how much Jason jones actually does at this point or if he's just too busy enjoying the money.

This make the hobby look fake and ingenuine, part of why consoles make more sense cause contents will always be finite and the void is inevitable, it's temporary and fake.
