wait a minute. Bats operating during a day. And you people said "Derp shots will be converted to midnight, derp" tells how much Gaf knows.

Like the bat hover thing. That's straight up comic book fun. Rest of the trailer left me a bit cold. Looks great but I'm still not feeling hyped for it like I was with TDK. The JGL stuff in the trailers doesn't reveal anything about his character. Who the hell is he supposed to be?

Awesome trailer.

I wonder if the makeup artists put JGL in Heath Ledger's Joker makeup, just once, to see what it would look like.

Bane's voice....

Seriously, I'm not trying to be that guy, but I liked the one in the previous trailer more (even though I didn't understand a word of what he was saying)

I think this is a unique "mix" for the trailer in particular due to comprehension complaints. If you notice whenever he talks in the trailer, it doesn't even sound like the voice is coming from the general audio track but something artificially edited in. Really weird.

I just hope to god they are only testing the waters here. It's definitely plastered on top of the audio. This can't be in the final release :(

I tend to forget that movie trailers are not always the finished product. I hope you're right.

Remember when the TDK trailers came out and we all fell in love with the Joker lines but then in the actual movie they used different takes of the same scene?

Wouldn't be shocked if some of the stuff we saw in the trailer isn't even in the final cut or has a different take.

And as I just posted in the trailer thread, we aren't comparing the same lines here. Bane's voice at times I bet sounds muffled (like when on a plane) and sometimes crystal clear when they are trying to get a scene across.

I doubt Nolan went back and changed or re-recorded dialogue based complaints about the prologue.

You could tell that some lines were dubbed over for the trailer. I'm sure the finished product will be a lot different when it comes to the dialogue.

Thank god I'm not the only one who thought that voice sounded artificial. Hopefully something changes for the final release. In Nolan I trust

Also, did that kid with Joe levity draw a nightwing symbol?

The thing that kills the end "this isn't a car" part is that they show the Batwing earlier in the trailer. There's no surprise.

Having watched the trailer twice now, I dig it. Hard to beat that first trailer for TDK, though.

I really hope this movie is better than the previous two and I have confidence that it can be but nothing, in terms of trailers, will ever top the introduction to the Joker.

After watching the prologue in imax, this new bane voice is welcomed, even if it experimental. I'd take this experimental voice being plastered over the original ANY DAY. Blown away that anyone thinks otherwise. Literally couldn't understand shit.

But yeah it does seem it was added after the fact, not worried though.

Even if it's a little worse than both of them, after hype has died down and we reflect back, we'll still have a great trilogy. I'm expecting TDK>TDKR=BB in terms of quality.

If they are showing it as daytime now, then it will probably be daytime in the film.

Dark Knight only had a few night shots, Hon Kong, the truck chase and the final act.

Bane is obviously searching for the Batman and then the epic fight with poor action (am I doing it right Nolan-hate club?) ensues.

I also find it odd everyone isn't shooting at each other.
I hope there's a good explanation for this. Its bothered me since the first trailer than mercenaries or criminals with guns and police with guns would choose to have a massive street brawl instead of a shootout.

I don't understand, do we have more information on that scene that I missed? Because to me it looks like the police trying to contain a riot. Not terrorists trying to kill the police.

Tom Hardy looks to be putting in one hell of a performance. Acting with a mask must suck, but his eyes are fucking menacing.

The simplest explanation is that Batman doesn't use guns, so you can't have a hundred people shooting guns.

Yeah, it is one of the few things you have to just go with. Like Bond parkour in Casino Royale. It really makes no god damn sense if you think about it, but it makes for an awesome scene so whatever.
