They'd be fine if the music in the trailer weren't so shitty. That Eminem & Pink song is total crap.

The problem isn't the song. The trailers just weren't very interesting. Looked like a generic action movie, nothing stood out, and was edited like a typical Hollywood action movie trailer with quick cuts, tons of fade-ins synced with DRAMATIC BEATS, etc. Nothing awesome about that.

far better than the BRREAAUMP horn sound that's made it into every movie trailer since TDK
 
So i'm at the cinema today (was watching a weird french film) and as I come out I see the regular dark knight rises poster but at the bottom I notice something new.

Don't know if I want to see the prologue or not. The Dark Knight had such a good opening but I think I would have been blown away even more if I hadn't seen it before hand.

I personally found the editing to the song pretty awesome and hyped me for the movie. Sure it looked like a generic action movie, but it's just a trailer and I know to expect just a bit more from the actual movie. Maybe it was because I was high and in an IMAX theater when I first saw it....

Anyway, enough derailing. I wonder if this clip can top the bank heist scene from TDK

EG is soooo fine and a great actress.
Seductive with her eyes and has the maturity and edge to pull off a character like CW,
not whats her face's Barbie Doll cutesy faces.

And I don't trust Nolan any longer after Catear Spyglasses.

Agreed. The trailer lacked any real spice to it. But anyway back to TDKR has posters out already in theaters?

And yes you guys convinced me already to watch it. Bootleg and in IMAX.

I am a weak man.

I often wonder about this because I still get this detached feeling when watching the TDK opening with the rest of the film. I Am Legend was definitely not worth the "IMAX Experience," but it looks like with Ghost Protocol that won't be the case.

I'd like to think I'm a patient enough person to wait until July. But I'm not.
 
I am not going to read your spoiler but I imagine its an introduction to Catwoman or Bane and at the end different shots of the movie mixed in over the Batman theme. Very much like TDK.

It will be upside down, with a lot of crowd noise so you can't make out the dialogue, and for some reason shot with a Motorola razr camera.

That is after the 2-3 fakes we will get in the days leading up to the actual fake footage.

I'm gonna guess something more along the lines of
Bane in prison, maybe breaking out. They're gonna want to highlight Bane as we'll see him in the movie; young Ra's and young Bane would be pretty disconnected from the rest of the story, I'd think.
 
I won't read any potential spoilers, as I'm on blackout and shouldn't even be clicking on this thread. BUT, that website is pretty much NEVER reliable.
 
Hint: If you read anything that ends with
"AND THEN BANE BREAKS BATMAN'S BACK. Like in that comic book that we all read 20 years ago!! OMG!"
, it's fan fic.
 
Now, even though this information comes from IMDB, I believe that this has more of a chance than the last description of being legit. Read with caution, and remember that the person who posted it on the forums's username is "Llortamaisey" which is "yes i am a troll" backwards. This description was posted two days ago, and does pose alot of questions though. But I won't ask them now. Remember, spoilers.

all it needed at the end was "AND THEN PHILP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN COMES OUT AS PENGUIN AND GOES "QUACK QUACK TIME FOR A FISH FRY!" AND THEN THE CAMERA CUTS TO A SHOT OF ARKHAM ASYLUM AND YOU SEE A SHADOWY FIGURE AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE JGL AS JOKER!!!!"
