Such supple lips...

batman is going to have to taze a bitch.

and Bane's body acne is gross (bububu its scaring. its in character!)

He has tattoos all over his arms normally, his arms looking that way is deliberate.

He had some acne on his back from previous set pics, but nothing remotely like that.

Hmmm...improvement.

Batman looks more intimidating than Bane in the last picture imo, but i'm sure some of that movie magic will fix that.

edit: and then i remember this shot from the teaser and regret how i said Batman looks more intimidating than Bane, bats is fookin scared of that hulking bastard.

damn. that's pretty impressive.
edit: man, someone on Nolan's costume design crew must be a fan of metal gear I tell ya.

Bane looks reasonably normal on all these shots.

Is that by design or are we going to wait for perspective, tricks and post production to make him look bigger?

The pics all look great. Untouched set photos always look awful, with the right framing and lighting Bane looks fantastic.

its the nolan universe, so i think they wont use any tricks to make him bigger.

From the Empire interview:

Nolan on the time between TDK and TDKR:
"Our story picks up eight years after The Dark Knight".

On the prologue:
"The Prologue is basically the first six, seven minutes of the film. Its the introduction to Bane and a taste of the rest of the film. With Bane we are looking to give Batman a physical challenge that he hasn't had before"

Lindy Hemming (costume designer) on Bane's mask:
"He was injured early in his story. Hes suffering from pain and he needs gas to survive. He cannot survive the pain without the mask. The pipes from the mask go back along his jawline and feed into the thing at the back where there are two cannisters of what ever it is..the anasthetic"

Just got my Empire mag through the door. The
jump in time is especially interesting. Does America go through some sort of governmental collapse that allows Bane to take control of the city?

C'mon that's not venom booooooo

Did you really think "Venom" would appear in the Nolanverse? Same with an abnormally sized Bane.
