pretty boring when you realize he could have just shot everyoneHow were the fight scenes? Since you've seen the film I wonder if Nolan has improved on them after two films.
bane is a lame villain
sorry guys
at least they could have made him the super-intelligent hispanic convict
No way this filmisn't going to be R rated. Or at least, I hope they get away with it somehow if it isn't..
Empire: This is a 12-certificate film isn't it?
Hardy: Yeah, but I'm not approaching it with a 12-cert attitude. If we're going to shoot somebody, shoot the pregnant woman or the old lady first. Make sure everybody stands up and listens. He is a terrorist in his mentality as well as brutal action. So he's horrible. A really horrible piece of work.
bane is lameSorry? For what?
Do you want us to not care about Bane or the movie because apparently you have seen the movie or think Bane is lame?
bane is lame
there is no other way around it
admit it
bane is lame
bane is lame as fuck

well when he's an hispanic super-intelligent autistic buff dude then yeah he's kinda funLol. So you really like Bane?
thank yuThis is compelling.
I am being serious.
What you said was substantial.
well when he's an hispanic super-intelligent autistic buff dude then yeah he's kinda fun
but that's only in certain comics tho
thank yu
From the rest of the quote
Good to know how to get people to listen to me now. Thanks Bane.
white dude with a breathing conditionSo what is he in Nolans movie?
lmao. i seriously can't make out whether that quote is real or not.
white dude with a breathing condition
It does harken back to that notion that this guy is originated from great pain and he has to address that - but at what point does it become indulgence? The question is: how long do you allow pain to dominate your life? He has to try and answer that and move on.
read the cover storyHow do you know? Are you Nolan's butler? Do you have tangerine stories?
read the cover story
he's a really brutal criminal and uh
he's good with martial arts

I'm really pumped now that I'veheard about the eight year time gap. I do wonder if they'll have Batman still doing his thing at the start of this movie. That's the vibe I got at the end of the Dark Knight, but with so much time passing anything is possible.
Costume designer Lindy Hemming talks us through the latest Bat-villain's style
THE MASK
"I wanted it to be like an animal. I looked at things like silverback gorillas, and snarling teeth and fangs coming up and fangs coming down."
THE ARMOR
"Here he has nods to the straps of the wrestling suit he started with in the comics, but he's much more of a warrior/mercenary than a wrestler."
THE TECH
"His stuff has been made on the move over the mountains of the world. So there is a slightly clunky element to him, and that's part of his story."
It's really all about finishing Batman's and Bruce Wayne's story. We left him in a very precarious place at the end of The Dark Knight. His reputation in tatters, on the run. And I think perhaps surprisingly for some people, our story picks up quite a bit later. He's not in great state. He's frozen in time, he's hit a brick wall. Batman Begins was very much about the explaining the logic of the suit, and how it belonged in the shadows, in a position of stealth where he's able to intimidate people with it as his new entity. And then through The Dark Knight we would him out during the magic hour and we changed the suit accordingly so he withstood that kind of exposure. But also the character himself has the reputation now, so he;s able to expose himself more and still intimidate people. And with the third film we're pushing that further...but plenty of it takes place in the dark too."
True enough. He could have been talking aboutI'm still pretty certain the film will begin closer in time to the end of The Dark Knight. Something will happen, and we'll jump eight years. Remember Gordon in the teaser: "and then you were gone". We need a context to understand why that is.There's a precedence for this in the trilogy; there was a 7 year time jump in Batman Begins. We might also get flashbacks or something, if the film does actually begin 8 years later.
More quotes: BANE STUFF
True enough. He could have been talking aboutmost of the central action taking place eight years after the Dark Knight. I would like it if it were structured more like begins with flashbacks to control the flow of the film. One of my biggest problems with the Dark Knight was it having pretty awful pacing, so you pointing out that this one may be structured differently has me even more excited.
Fuck dude. I have a question. What happens when an immovable object meets a_____TANGERINE________? (Enter your metaphor for Bane)

Prologue could be PROLOGUE before the 8 years.
<Nolan> The story takes place 8 years after TDK. It starts off 8 years later. It's 8 years later. 96 months in the future.
<GAF> ....but what if it was right after the events of TDK?
With this quote, what if the prologue featuresedit;Bane breaking Batman's back. And Batman returns 8 years later...damn. that would be awesome
holy shit that would be amazing.
it makes it seem like they might be coveringNolan said:"The Prologue is basically the first six, seven minutes of the film. Its the introduction to Bane and a taste of the rest of the film. With Bane we are looking to give Batman a physical challenge that he hasn't had before"
We have G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17.Does America have a 14A? In Canada, 14A is what half of the US R-rated movies get, and is our PG-13 but more stuff falls into it.
I dunno man. This kind of makes it sound like the emphasis is on"The Prologue is basically the first six, seven minutes of the film. Its the introduction to Bane and a taste of the rest of the film. With Bane we are looking to give Batman a physical challenge that he hasn't had before"

It'd certainly be a hell of a way to start off the film. TheI dunno man. This kind of makes it sound like the emphasis is onBatman having to overcome a 'physical challenge', and what better way than to introduce Bane and what the film is going to be like, than breaking Batman

Would love a hi-res shot of that Bane cover. So awesome.
Was TDK really 7 years after BB? I'd assumed that it was closely following it as they name dropped the Joker at the end of BB and he's only beginning to establish himself at the start of TDK.
He was talking about Batman Begins itself. Bruce took seven years to go travel the world, get put in jail, train, and other random shit. Was TDK really 7 years after BB? TDK was 2 years after BB. However BB, had a 7 year jump in the middle of it
