Where is the dude saying that the marketing sucked?
Or the shitty posters.A semi decent TV spot doesn't make up for 2 awful trailers.
What? All the trailers are good.A semi decent TV spot doesn't make up for 2 awful trailers.
C'mon internet, I'd love to see that second tv spot.
What? All the trailers are good.
Here come the haters
All I got from all of this, is that DM watches Modern Family.
That is all that matters to me.
At the very least, I don't know how the second trailer is "shitty" by any definition of the term.This. So now the trailers were bad? When did that happen?

Modern Family is great!I said supposedly, I didn't see it. Because I don't watch crap!!
I've never seen an episode so I don't know the quality of the show.
It begins with Bruce and Selina at the costume ball. Then shows footage of Bane from the prologue, with a Gordon voiceover about how huge a threat he is.
Unseen footage of Bane in some building with his mercenaries...then footage of the stadium scene, the stock exchange being torn up, then Alfred talking to Bruce about Bane a bit, how he was born and raised in hell.
A variation on the Catwoman 'you've given them everything' line. Some unseen shots of the Bat flying, and then finally the aforementioned hilarious scene mentioned where Selina steals the Lambo...with this exchange of dialogue between Bruce and bellhop:
"Sir, your wife said you were taking a cab home..."
"MY WIFE?!?"
Alfred knows about Joker and Bane. Seriously, someday he has to tell Bruce these things ahead of time.

Alfred will tell a story about Venezuela. And a pearl the size of a...persimmon.
Alfred was probably pre-school friends with Ra's too.Alfred knows about Joker and Bane. Seriously, someday he has to tell Bruce these things ahead of time.

The night Ra's died, I got his body from the rubble. The explosion that blew up his train came from his microwave emitter. I know you're trying to defend Ra's honor, but there is no question that he died by his own hand. I loved Ra's, as I've loved you, Bane. As your friends love you.
So the jokes and humor in these new tv spots, who else thinks that they are a direct result of the success of the Avengers?

I think they're the direct result of every successful blockbuster in history. They ALWAYS have TV spots with humor. So the jokes and humor in these new tv spots, who else thinks that they are a direct result of the success of the Avengers?
Yeah they filmed some quick reshoots last week to add the jokes.
what?
Or they are TV spots directed at families watching primetime TV.
TDK tv spots had jokes too.

He means them cutting the commercials to include the "jokes"...if you want to call them that.
I haven't been a part of these threads or speculation, so this is probably old/very wrong, but I wonder ifduring his recovery time he ends up doing another world tour to improve himself, like where we saw him in prison again, to help him remember how to be Batman, basically. Also wonder if the full face mask means that someone (likely JGL) takes his place for a bit, covering his face to hide the obvious from people who may recognize the lower half.
Or just humor. Witty banter and such.
The first tv spot of the day had two such occurrences. The synopsis for the second one seems funny too. by the way WHERE IS IT.
But dmzaf is probably right about them targeting prime time tv-watching families.
Second TV spot, with Catwoman (aired during Modern Family). Again, lots of new footage.
