Okay so I just checked out the MTV footage and here are some things I really loved, 2 things:
Bane's growl: Not sure if this is part of the soundtrack or if it's the effect of his respirator, but it works real damn nice. His terrorist qualities are shining and he has Gotham by the fucking balls.
Music creates an unpleasant/horror atmosphere.. I feel the freaking temperature, it's not cold but chilly and real depressing. I hear howls I hear pulsing, Gotham was bad before with all its crime but now it's a full on fucking nightmare, that shit is like Palestine and soviet Russia had a baby.

I love that it almost feels like a... superhero horror film. Hardy even described in an interview that Bane is like a movie monster. It really feels like that. There's menace exuding from every frame, the fear is palpable.

I wonder just how long Bane has been in control of Gotham.
Where the fuck is the US government is what I'm wondering. He's been there some time, all the bridges are blown out, the tunnels are blocked, land routes east are... who knows. Where the hell is the federal government? What are they doing about this insanity?
I'm afraid now that I think back about those bloody fighter jets in the last trailer.
