I need to start reading some comics again or something. For the Dark Knight, I was in this thread everyday, participated in every event during the viral campaign, etc. etc.

Getting old sucks sometimes.

Speaking of the viral marketing, they've been pretty quiet for awhile. I think the last thing they did was for the posters.

I'm hoping they still do the advance screenings like they did for TDK. That was a pleasant surprise.

I would be surprised if they did. The campaign has reach high levels of not giving a shit. Plus, WB wants that sweet Whedon cashmonies.

They got some tremendous word of mouth from the early screenings for TDK. Not that it matters, this movie is gonna make much more than the previous one. I mean, what's a few free screenings compared to all the sold out showings they just got so far?

Warner is weird. This is the same company which confiscated cell phones before a screening of a two minute trailer for Dark Knight, only to allow then in to a screening of the entire film a week before theatrical release.

They are all over the place.

omg

The hair, the mannerisms

it all makes sense now.

the fact Jim Carey wore more makeup than tommy lee jones did.

The mannerisms are basically the same as Frank Gorshin's from the '60s show.

The best thing about Inception were the swaggerific suits. I don't know if Nolan will ever top that movie from a costume design perspective.

In all honesty, making all these gifs, and watching all these clips from Forever has actually gotten me to find some enjoyment in Carrey's Riddler, but only in the last half hour or so of the movie, because that's when he actually begins to feel like a villain.

I mean, for most of the movie it's just Carrey doing his schtick. It's more like he's doing the Riddler on a sketch on In Living Color than actually playing the character. But after he kidnaps Chase Meridian and such, and he works solely from his giant evil lair, there is this odd sinister quality about him. He's still hamming it up and is playing it full-on cartoon, but there is actually something kind of frightening under all of the jokes and goofy laughs.

The way he channels Frank Gorshin while adding in murderous undertones, it's really kind of fun and interesting.

I don't know. Maybe it's just the lack of music against his performance, or maybe all this Forever stuff is starting to drive me insane. I don't know.

I hate that Bale keeps hinting that he would be back for a fourth film if Nolan came back.

It ain't happening Bale...don't tease us!

I'm sure Bale would do a remake of Newsies if Nolan was in. The guy has worked with the likes of McG. He knows how good he has it with his partnership with Nolan.

I commend you on your stamina, but you should get a ticket for a non dome imax(the dome imax looks weird and is not the way it was meant to be)

I'm also not a big fan of Bale saying he wants to do a 4th one, if only for the fact that it pretty much spoils whether Batman survives or not.

It could be just what Nolan told him to say to keep it a secret
, like Marion Cotillard being a
"
business associate
"
of Wayne Industries.
