By the way, Sony invited me to a screening of The Amazing Spider-Man that happens well after the embargo lifts. Luckily we have freelancers who have seen the movie, and we will have a review for you tomorrow/Wednesday. It ain't good.

Heh, sounds a lot like that particular redux was done by ramin djawadi (prison break, game of thrones), going by the sound effects and samples. Wouldn't be surprising, as he's part of Hans Zimmer's regular team.

July 3rd looks to be getting even more exciting for comic book fans. Not only is Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man premiering in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D, but it looks like a brand new trailer for the Distinguished Competition's The Dark Knight Rises is landing as well.

A fourth trailer for Christopher Nolan's bat-finale was just given a rating by the government in Alberta, Canada and all signs point to the caped crusader rising just before Spidey swings. There's no confirmation as of yet, but check back for further details as they become available.
